In this meditation and breathing exercise you will find a connection to your inner wisdom, through the use of your own breath. Your breath is the voice of your soul, Spirit. You will connect to wisdom from within and realize that you are your own healer. We will use a gentle, connected breathing rhythym in this meditation.

Sit or lie in a way that you're completely comfortable and can remain alert at the same time.

You can either sit on the floor in lotus position,

On a chair with your feet on the floor,

Or laying on your bed or on your sofa.

In case you're lying down,

Make sure that you're head and neck are straight.

So remove any pillows.

Put one hand on your stomach and your other hand on your heart.

Slowly close your eyes.

Breathe into your stomach.

A few deep inhales through the nose and exhale through your mouth.

Let go of everything.

Now if breathing into your stomach is not a problem,

Try and also use your chest and the sides of your ribcage while breathing to fully use and optimize your breathing mechanism.

And allow yourself to be completely in this moment,

To fully relax.

You don't have to go anywhere.

You don't have to do anything but to take this moment for yourself.

Now please try and connect your breathing as you only breathe through your nose.

And connecting your breathing means that your inhalation spills over to the exhalation without pauses and your exhalation spills over to your inhalation without pauses.

You can visualize a flowing movement of your breathing.

Just make sure there are no breaks in between your inhale and your exhale or your exhale and your inhale.

You breathe continuously,

Connected.

As if your exhalation doesn't stop anywhere,

There is no end because your inhalation has already begun.

It merges.

And you breathe calmly,

Relaxed.

The inhalation,

It symbolizes your zest for life and it's enthusiastic and relaxed at the same time.

And your exhalation reminds you to surrender,

To let go,

To fully trust.

And the exhalation is relaxed.

Today you don't have to force anything.

Just allow yourself to flow with your natural flow of breathing.

And connect your breath in and out without breaks.

Make sure you keep it connected.

And feel how you are being carried.

Feel how you are being supported.

And connect to the earth beneath you.

For example,

By visualizing that you shoot a line from your body to the core of the earth.

Feel how you are connected.

Feel how mother earth carries you wherever you go and whatever you do.

And now visualize a line from your body that extends far up into the universe.

And it connects you to your higher wisdom,

Your higher self,

The divine,

Spirit,

Your soul,

God,

Creator,

And your spirit guides.

Just simply enjoy this feeling of connection.

And then observe how your body feels.

Is there a place that demands attention?

Maybe somewhere there's a feeling of restlessness,

Tension,

Tingling,

Pain maybe,

Or emptiness.

A place that does not feel comfortable to you.

Maybe it's an emotion stored into your body.

Breathe into that spot.

In and out like a wave.

Connected breathing is your way to go there.

You may notice that at first this feeling becomes more present and maybe even more uncomfortable.

You may also notice that you're creating space.

I want to invite you to have a conversation with that feeling,

With that sensation or that place with an open mind.

You can question it.

What is this here?

What do you want to tell me?

What message do you have for me?

And breathe in and out.

Calm,

Relaxed,

And connected.

Through our lives we have used our breath to store or suppress our emotions and experiences.

That which we couldn't feel,

Was too big or too scary.

We did this by stopping or pausing our breathing.

That is why it is so important to stay with that connected breathing so that you can release all the stagnant energy and reclaim the repressed parts of yourself.

Reclaim that inner wisdom.

Maybe there is another place in your body or in your energy field that needs attention.

I want to invite you to go there and talk to it,

To open up and to listen to this wisdom inside of you.

And while you continue to breathe consciously and connected,

You can now go to a place in your body or energy field where you feel love,

Light,

Joy or peace.

This nice place.

Breathe.

Breathe in there.

This is your essence.

What does it want to tell you?

Have an open mind.

What message do you have for me?

What is it that I need to know about myself,

About my life?

Be open.

Be receptive.

Be grateful.

Whatever the message is.

Your breath is your life force.

When you connect with your breath,

You strengthen this life force.

Your breath is the voice of your soul,

Of spirit.

And it's got so much to tell you.

There is this infinite amount of wisdom inside of you.

You have all the answers yourself.

You are your own healer.

And your breath is your medicine.

Now visualize yourself walking in a beautiful field in nature.

You may see flowers,

Lovely green grass.

Maybe there are birds around you or trees,

A river.

What do you see?

What is the weather like?

What's the temperature?

What do you hear or smell?

And if you look in the distance,

You see someone is walking up to you.

Someone is coming your way.

It's getting closer and closer.

And as it gets closer,

You can see now that this is you.

Maybe it's your higher self,

Maybe an older and wise version of yourself.

Or maybe it's your inner child or the child you used to be.

It's getting closer and you're greeting each other.

And you feel this wisdom and love flowing.

Have a conversation with this person and ask your questions.

You can ask anything.

What message does it have for you?

Maybe it can tell you something about your next steps in life.

Maybe it's an insight it wants to share.

It's also got a gift for you.

What is it?

Unwrap it and maybe it's a symbol,

A word,

Or a sign.

Receive it.

You know what it is and why you are receiving this.

And just say goodbye.

You hug each other and your ways part.

Just know that this wisdom is always there for you.

At any moment,

You are your own wise guide,

Your own healer.

And you can go back to your breathing.

Feel your hands moving on your heart and stomach with each breath.

And slowly,

Slowly come back to the here and now.

You can move your fingers,

Your toes.

Come back again.

Close with three deep breaths through the nose.

And you can slowly open your eyes.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for being you.

Thank you for connecting with yourself and your inner wisdom.
