Welcome to a beautiful acceptance meditation.

My name is Brenda and I will be guiding you today.

Cultivating a sense of inner acceptance will hopefully ripple out into acceptance of other parts of life and our day-to-day not to bypass anything or not to be in any way unobservant of what may be actually happening or hurting but as a way to value ourselves as worthy,

Accept ourselves and when we allow our positive mind to expand or we practice a bit more of this positive thinking we may be able to to see all of the good that we have in the present moment or in the now and I invite you to keep an open mind today and just see what comes up for you in this session.

Let's go ahead make our way to our seat,

Our position that we want to take for today and for some of us that might be sitting in a chair,

For some of us that might mean sitting down on the floor maybe with the cushion underneath us or you might choose to lie down knees bent,

Knees knocking in towards each other as a way to fully extend and relax not the intention to sleep for this meditation but to receive and as you're making your way there you can slowly start to close your eyes as well and just tune in to what it is that you're feeling or sensing into right now without too much judgment whether it's a good or a bad feeling and just an observation of this is where I am,

This is where where I'm feeling so and just a little bit more inquiry come to the space of your heart or arrive with your attention to the space of your heart and is there anything that your heart space your heart wants to say and oftentimes the reason or the reason that I bring it down to the heart is because the mind will overload with thoughts or overload with thinking.

In our modern times with so much that may be going on it is normal for the amount of thoughts to be what they are but coming down to the heart and saying what is it that wants to come out and say might be a little different and it might not but see and observe for a moment.

Now I want to invite us to start to slow our breath down a little bit more and it might be helpful for you to place your hands on your belly or on your ribs as a way to just tune in to the breath a little bit more and I want you to breathe in slow and steady and feel your palms expand with your breath and a very slow breath out as you feel the palms soften towards you on that exhale.

You breathe and fill up slowly very slow on that inhale feel your palms fill up with your breath a slow release of the breath out feel your palms getting closer towards you full belly breath in a softened breath out mouth is soft jaw is soft breathe in breathe out breathe in breathe out just a few more rounds on your own very slow intentional belly breaths let the palms fall to your thighs very soft elbows soft shoulders and while the palms are no longer on your body still keep that same cadence that same depth and rhythm now just begin to visualize observe the screen of your mind imagine yourself walking up beautiful path you're walking up this beautiful path observe the colors serve the landscape wherever you are just imagine yourself taking a seat somewhere on this path what kind of seat would allow you to feel your most comfortable self what kind of position and in this moment you have nothing else to do there is nothing else required of you to do aside from being here keep breathing allow these words that I speak to gently wash over you I'm worthy to be loved I'm worthy to be prosperous I'm worthy to be fulfilled I'm worthy to be joyous I'm worthy to be content I'm a great person of worth I like myself I trust myself I believe in myself I am perfect just as I am I'm lovable and I am loved I thank myself and so it is to sit with the echo of the words for a moment breathing absolutely nothing else to do accepting this moment as it is I read the words out loud once again internally repeat them back to yourself I'm worthy to be loved I'm worthy to be prosperous I'm worthy to be fulfilled I'm worthy to be joyous I'm worthy to be content I'm a great person of worth I like myself I trust myself I believe in myself I accept myself I'm perfect just as I am I'm lovable and I'm loved I thank myself so it is sit with the echo of the words accepting this moment as you are there are any of the phrases any parts of the words that are lingering that want to be repeated feel free to repeat them inside of yourself to bring your palms to your heart space one palm on top of the heart the other on top of the other palm and invite a little smile to yourself in this moment of acceptance in this moment of the here and now we accept the here and now I accept the here and now bowing your chin down towards your heart towards your palms in a gesture of gratitude for yourself for cultivating this acceptance breathe in three times nice full breaths into your heart and into your belly now instead of visualizing this beautiful path and just visualize yourself here right now knowing exactly where you are is where you need to be your room your chair the belongings around you it's all here start to blink your eyes open a few times physically now seeing the space that you're in and accepting everything that you cultivated everything that you have created for yourself and in return everything that you will cultivate in the future as well thank you so much for this great session I hope this was helpful I welcome you back to this session or any other meditations feel free to hop back into this one when you need that moment of acceptance thank you so much and see you soon bye
