Today we'll celebrate you.
We'll celebrate your ability to stop,
Reset,
Relax,
And just breathe.
You're going to find yourself in a comfortable position,
Whether it's sitting or lying.
Make sure that your hands are to your side and your palms are facing upward.
You're going to be in the receiving mode.
And we'll start by taking a few deep breaths in through our nose and out through our mouth.
Ready?
And breathe in through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
Let's do another in through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
One more in through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
Now you just want to find your breath,
Whatever feels right.
Our focus here is for you to focus on your breath.
You'll notice that you'll have thoughts that will come and go,
That will clutter your mind.
You'll think about things that you should do or want to do or maybe have forgotten to do.
That's fine.
Just acknowledge those thoughts and let them flow by.
Your only focus is your breath in this moment now.
So we're going to work our way down your spine with the goal of having your entire body relax,
Keeping your mind still,
Working out any tension that you may have.
So right at the top of your spine,
I want you to breathe into the area and on the exhale,
You want to exhale any tension that you may feel in that area.
Really put all your focus there.
Just breathe.
Now we will work our way down,
Actually go to the shoulder area in the area of your spine,
Right in between your shoulders.
Most people that have tension or stress,
We carry it there.
It's you carrying your heavy load,
We want to breathe that out.
So you inhale in and when you exhale,
You want to exhale any tension that you feel in that area.
Just take a few moments to breathe and exhale the tension.
And we'll slowly move down a little bit further,
Still to the upper back area.
Breathing in,
Exhaling out the tension,
Focusing on that area.
Just breathe.
Travel a little further down,
Still just breathing.
As we focus in,
Right to our mid-back area on our spine,
You're inhaling and exhaling that tension.
Breathe in,
Exhale out.
As we work our way down to our lower back,
Still focusing on breathing.
Exhaling that tension as you go.
Just breathe in,
Exhale out.
Your body should start to feel very fluid.
It should start to almost feel as though you have softened up and you're able to kind of melt into yourself.
As you continue to go right down to your tailbone area,
You're breathing in,
Exhaling any tension that you may have.
Really taking in this time,
Taking in the stillness,
Taking in how you feel.
I wanted to become comfortable with this feeling,
Familiar even,
So that it's something that you're looking forward to coming back to.
As you prepare to come back,
Just take a moment to breathe and reflect.
Embrace how you feel.
Embrace this time alone.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes and come back to your present area.
Just look around,
Realize that everything is still in one piece.
Everything is still coming and going the way that it would have,
Whether you were presently there or not,
Right,
Or in your active role.
So what I'm encouraging you to do is,
No matter how busy or crazy or stressful it may be,
You want to make sure you take a few minutes out of the day to just come in and breathe.
Come into yourself,
Check in with yourself,
Check in with your body.
Breathe,
Release still your mind.
And so hopefully you feel as amazing as you are,
Wishing you a beautiful and balanced rest of your day.
And until next time.
