It's called the quick erasure technique.

And what I like about this method is that it literally takes about one minute.

And I've even used this with people who have no experience before with spirituality and awareness.

And within a minute,

They get what awareness is,

And they get that there's a certain peace or a certain new vibration that comes about by focusing on awareness.

So let me guide you in the method.

That's the best way for you to know what it is.

And it really takes maybe just a minute or maybe two minutes.

And then you will have a new tool for your toolbox.

And when you have the right way to bring the right tool to the right situation,

Life is never the same.

You have a friend that is potentially with you for life.

So with the quick erasure method,

If you're able to close your eyes,

That makes it a little bit better.

And what you do is you imagine that you have a big eraser and that you slowly,

Like a cartoon,

You're erasing your body,

Starting with your feet.

So imagine you're erasing your feet,

And then you're erasing your lower legs,

And then you're slowly erasing your upper legs.

So that it's as if those parts of your body are erased out of existence just for a moment.

And then you can erase your torso and erase your stomach and lower back area.

And erase your chest,

Upper back area.

Now you can erase each arm.

And finally,

Erasing your neck.

And you might feel like you're left in that head area,

As we often feel.

But I'd like you now to begin to erase your head area.

And imagine that you're also erasing,

As best you can,

Your thoughts.

So without a body,

Imagining that you do not have a body,

And imagining that your thoughts were quiet,

Would you still be left?

What exactly would be left?

What's left is your awareness,

Because that's always in the background,

Allowing you to register all your experiences.

So if you hear thoughts now,

The part of you that hears them is your awareness.

If you feel any sensations,

The part of you that is registering that is your awareness.

Even if thoughts and sensations are gone,

Your awareness is what's left.

Be that awareness as best you can.

Feel the peace of it,

The spaciousness of it,

The expansion of it.

Good.

When you're ready,

Take as much time as you need.

You can slowly open your eyes,

While feeling a connection to that awareness that is always in the background,

Allowing you to register all your sensations,

Thoughts,

And images.

So that's just a couple minute technique.

And with practice,

You get better at it,

Just like anything else.

And that's what's exciting,

Is as you practice different methods,

You find the ones that work for you,

And you discard the ones that don't.

And soon,

The thread of awareness is throughout your day,

Throughout your relationships,

Throughout each moment of existence.

And when you have that,

You are a true blessing to yourself and the world.
