
Healing Your Mind In Crazy Times
By healing our minds, we heal our lives, and we send healing energy into the world. Now more than ever, we need to reclaim our very own minds. By doing so, we can heal and bless all of life. Healing our minds is not about "stopping" thinking - it's about creating beautiful thoughts and feelings. The mind's function is to think, and so, in this audio, we discuss how you can reclaim your mind, and use your mind as it was Divinely intended - for creating benevolence and light on every level.

I'm Michael McIntosh.
And I'm Arielle Hecht.
Today on Awakened Life,
We're talking about healing your mind in crazy times.
So these are indeed crazy times.
And the reason we're talking about the mind today is because the mind,
Our mind,
Our focus creates our reality.
And many people say things like that,
But what does it actually mean?
We're going to be discussing that today because as we focus on things,
We see the world through the filter of our mind.
And whatever we think we are experiencing,
That affects our speech,
Which then affects our actions.
So we act on the basis of our perception of our mind.
So as we start to shift our consciousness,
Shift our thinking,
Shift our mind state,
Shift our attention,
We begin to create a new type of life and new possibilities.
Because all creations begin as a creation of the mind.
If you look around you right now,
You'll notice all sorts of objects like here we are sitting in our little recording studio area.
We have these microphones and computers and different gadgets and headphones.
There's the house,
Speakers,
Telephones,
There's all sorts of different things.
And they all started as the creation of the mind,
Didn't they?
The chairs we're sitting on,
The systems that we have.
So the mind starts off with an idea that then becomes refined through words,
Through plans,
And then through actions it's brought forth into the 3D world.
So everything that manifests physically begins as a creation of the mind.
And if we do not control our own thoughts and our own mind,
Then we are going to be influenced by the thoughts and desires of other people.
Because we have a mind,
Either we're in control of it or someone else is.
And that might sound a bit scary,
But this is what's going on.
If you think about what's going on social media,
On the news,
Everyone has an opinion,
Everyone has a perception,
Everyone has their idea about something,
And they want us to think in a particular way.
Politicians want us to think in a particular way,
The news wants us to think that way,
Different marketers and companies want us to think different things.
And so we have to learn how to control our own mind so that we can create the sort of life that we want.
And in learning to control our mind,
This is also healing our mind.
Because if our mind is taking in a lot of negativity of all forms,
Then it's going to become very unhealthy.
Our mind is going to become very sick,
Very unwell.
And when our mind becomes unwell,
Our entire life becomes unwell,
Right?
Because as souls,
We use the mind so much in our experience.
We experience through the screen of our mind.
We see through our mind,
We think within our mind.
And so we need to be able to control our mind lovingly in order to heal our mind,
In order to ensure we're filling our mind with healing vibrations,
Positive,
Beautiful thoughts,
Beautiful influences,
And most of all in our meditation practice,
That we're bringing divine energy into our minds.
So the mind is a beautiful thing.
It has been said that the mind can be heaven or hell,
Depending upon how we use it.
And for me personally,
When I was 18,
I started doing meditation and before then I had not really thought much about my mind.
In fact,
I had been distracting myself with music and entertainment and news and media and whatever else.
So when I first started meditating,
I remember sitting there in the meditation center,
Sitting on the chair,
Cross-legged,
In silence and being quite horrified,
Quite shocked actually,
Like,
My God,
Look at all these thoughts,
Like what am I thinking and noticing that there's this whole inner world that I'd been ignoring and distracting myself from for years and years and years.
And I think a lot of people experience that when they start doing meditation.
They start thinking,
Whoa,
How am I going to control my mind?
We hear this a lot when we talk to different students.
They say,
How can I control the crazy mind,
The monkey mind?
And many people complain that they can't stop their thoughts.
And one of the things I learned in meditation many years ago,
Which I'm very grateful to have discovered,
Is that you actually can't stop your thinking permanently.
You can slow it down,
You can create thoughts,
But you can't stop your mind thinking permanently because the mind's job is to think thoughts.
The mind is meant to think,
That's what it's for.
It has a job and it's meant to create beautiful things,
Visions,
Awarenesses,
Experiences,
Feelings.
It has huge opportunity to create a beautiful life,
A beautiful inner world for us.
Or it can create hell.
So instead of trying to stop thinking,
Which is not actually possible,
Instead we can choose to create,
Consciously create our thoughts so that they're the kind of thoughts that we want to have.
So we have the external world,
The world around us,
The world of things and people.
And then we have our inner world,
Which is the world of thoughts and feelings.
And we can't control our external world because there's lots and lots of different people and things and weather and all sorts of stuff happening.
But our inner world is something we actually do have the capacity to choose.
And it's our responsibility and our great joy to choose beautiful thoughts,
Beautiful feelings,
Healing thoughts,
Healing feelings,
Healing visions,
And focus on things that help make our life better.
Exactly.
So the function of the mind is to think.
Anyone listening to this,
All of us know you can't stop the mind permanently.
Certainly we can slow down the speed of our thoughts.
We can have an experience of more inner silence,
More space between our thoughts,
But it isn't that the mind is going to stop thinking because that's its function.
And I think in today's world,
The mind gets,
You know,
A bad name.
Everyone's complaining about their mind.
Why do we want to stop our mind in the first place?
Because it's filled with the vibrations of negativity.
In Sanskrit terms,
Humanity's reached the Tamil pradhan quality of energy,
That state of being that is the lowest quality of energy.
So Tamil pradhan energy in the mind,
Negative thoughts,
Waste thoughts,
Negative feelings,
Negative images,
Negative words.
So of course,
Eventually the soul's like,
This is enough,
You know,
I've had enough of this because it can feel like harassment.
So it isn't that the mind in itself is bad.
The mind is actually quite innocent,
Very innocent.
It absorbs and takes in all sorts of things very easily,
Especially if I,
The soul,
Am not paying attention,
I'm not aware,
I'm not conscious,
I'm just consuming what's around me.
So the mind is innocent.
And what we want to do is elevate ourselves,
Elevate our mind,
Our thoughts,
Elevate the influences in our lives,
Our environment,
So that we're creating a more sattva pradhan,
Means highest quality of energy,
Environment for the mind.
And of course,
We do that primarily through meditation,
Taking in higher spiritual energy,
Divine energy.
And we also do that in a number of ways.
And what we allow in,
How we control our mind.
That's right,
Because the mind doesn't just randomly generate things out of nowhere.
The creations of the mind are largely a result of what we've consumed in the past.
So if you've ever watched a movie late at night,
And then you went to sleep and you dreamt about it,
Or you had nightmares about it,
How did that happen?
Because the movie went into the mind,
Through the eyes,
Through the ears,
And then it went into the subconscious,
And then it came back out in dreams.
In fact,
A massive percentage of what we think every day is actually not original creation.
This is something that really we need to pay attention to is,
Am I creating original thoughts?
Or am I regurgitating the thoughts of other people?
Now,
Some other thoughts are very elevated thoughts and are worth thinking again and again.
But most of the things that we come across in our world are of low quality and low value.
So regurgitating negativity round and round and round and thinking it belongs to us.
This is a huge disservice to ourselves.
And so we don't even realize this is happening.
We're just going about,
You know,
A lot of people these days scrolling through the newsfeed on social media and checking this and checking that.
All that stuff's going into the mind.
You know,
And like,
For example,
If someone scrolls Facebook newsfeed really quickly,
The subconscious mind absorbs every single message.
Every single message is absorbed.
We don't read it consciously,
But it all goes in.
And then that has an effect on us and it comes back out again in our own thoughts and feelings.
So we have to be very careful that what we're absorbing isn't the sort of thing that we're going to have to detox.
Exactly.
We have to really pay attention.
And as Michael's going to speak more about as well,
We're living in an attention economy.
Everyone wants our attention,
The news stations,
Different websites,
Social media,
Everyone everywhere wants our attention.
And what do they want our attention for?
What are they putting in our minds?
And are we conscious and careful?
Are we treating ourselves and our inner world like a delicate,
Precious,
Beautiful kingdom that we need to protect?
Right?
We don't want the gates just to be open and we let garbage in because as the saying goes,
Garbage in garbage out.
If we want to have a beautiful life experience,
We need to be very careful,
Extremely cautious of what we take in to our inner kingdom.
That's true.
In the same way that we have different things in our house,
You know,
If you buy something online or you go to a shop and you buy it for your house,
Maybe new furniture,
Maybe new equipment,
Maybe new clothes,
You think about that,
You know,
Is it something that you'd like?
Is it going to bring you joy?
Is it going to make your life better?
And you choose it and then you have that experience.
And maybe you buy stuff online,
You realize it doesn't really work out and you send it back because you'd rather not have it in your life and in your house.
And can you imagine what would happen if all the random junk that people wanted to give you or affect you came into your house and you weren't choosing it,
Just random packages were sent to you and all sorts of random stuff and there was insects and little monsters and little political people spewing out their latest,
You know,
Propaganda and all this stuff happening.
Yeah.
All the time and living in your house and you haven't chosen it and it's just appeared.
Would you like to have that in your physical house,
In your bedroom,
In your lounge?
No,
It would be a nightmare.
We'd want to get rid of it.
So we wouldn't have that physically,
But this is what we're doing spiritually,
Mentally,
Without realizing it.
And so we live in the attention economy and attention,
Everyone wants our attention.
The news wants our attention,
Social media wants our attention,
Different organizations want our attention,
Marketers want our attention,
Advertisers want our attention,
And they all want our attention for what reason?
To get something from us.
Some people have good intentions and they have good interest and they want to help us.
Most people,
That's not what they want.
They want to get something without giving anything back.
So one of the key things to having a good mind,
A powerful mind,
Is being able to choose what we allow into our mind through our mind,
Through our senses.
To be very careful about what we look at,
What we listen to,
Because we have to deal with those things once they've entered into our house.
So let's just talk a little bit about what the mind can do.
So we have this thing called the mind.
The mind creates thoughts.
It also creates feelings,
It creates images,
It creates sounds.
You can actually close your eyes and listen to music that you've heard in your mind,
Because it's in your mind.
You can actually watch films.
There are some people who've mastered their mind so they can watch an entire film in detail and they can watch many,
Many films.
There are some people who have photographic memories who can read entire books in their mind.
They call it the mind palace.
So they can read books in their mind,
They can listen to whole albums,
They can watch movies,
They can do all sorts of things because the mind is its own kingdom.
So the mind has a lot of potential if it's used in the right way.
We can create beautiful feelings.
That's what meditation is.
Meditation is an opportunity to create a beautiful feeling inside our mind,
Inside our heart,
So that we feel really good.
You might just be sitting there on your chair and you have such beautiful,
Blissful feelings,
Such good feelings.
You feel everything's just perfect in the world and nothing's changed physically.
It's just your mind,
Your consciousness is changed.
So we can create feelings,
We can create pleasure,
We can create success.
If we think powerful thoughts about what we want to create,
That leads us to effective actions which lead us to a different reality,
Different future.
So the mind,
If it's used in the right way,
Can heal our body as well.
People who are positive,
Who have powerful thoughts,
Can heal their body through the power of their mind.
That's why in hospitals,
The doctors and nurses,
They know themselves that the positive people are more likely to recover faster than the negative ones.
Many people have healed themselves of all kinds of illnesses through the power of the mind,
Through positive feelings and vibrations.
So the mind has the potential to really deal with a lot of magical,
Beautiful things.
It also has the capacity to create stress.
So we can create pleasure or we can create pain in our mind.
We can create a sense of safety and peace or we can create fear.
If we think about terrible things happening in the future,
We can put ourselves into a panic even though nothing's different.
Or we can imagine beautiful things in the future and put ourselves in a state of excitement and joy.
So we can create worry,
We can create pain or we can create good feelings and freedom.
So this is why the mind is so important.
It has that ability to create our experience now and create our future experience as well.
And you'll notice that in either direction,
If you've practiced having positive thoughts and feelings and surrounding yourself with good influences,
You'll notice that the mind really works with momentum as well.
So we want to be able to groove in this good way of being.
And I'm sure everyone's noticed as well.
We can easily,
As the expression goes,
Go down a rabbit hole and find ourselves quite easily in a momentum the other direction.
I think when we go in downward spirals,
It can be more and more challenging to get out of the more and more time goes by and the more and more momentum that negative spiral gets.
And unfortunately,
In our world today,
Those negative spirals can be supported very easily by the world around us,
The news,
The media around us.
There's plenty of negative minded people in the world to sustain a negative loop.
And so we have to make effort to go the other direction and we need momentum.
It's not something we just do once.
It's designing our entire life around how can I support my mind in being an elevated,
Powerful,
Pure state of being.
It's a full,
Full on job,
Right?
It's not just something we consider once.
We have to completely design our life in a way that our mind can be in an elevated place.
It's a beautiful,
Beautiful game.
And I remember in 2005,
I went to India.
I've been to India many,
Many times and I went for five or six months.
And I started doing a lot of meditation.
And I remember one day very clearly walking back from a meditation center to where I was living.
Back from a meditation center to where I was staying.
I was walking down the road and I had the clarity for the first time that if I wanted to create beautiful thoughts,
If I wanted to create a beautiful mind,
Then I basically needed to do guided meditations for myself in my mind.
Because,
You know,
When I was meditating,
I'd sit down and do meditation and I'd create a guided meditation.
We have lots of guided meditations on Insight Timer and on different things that you can listen to.
So we do lots of guided meditations anyway.
But I realized that that's nice to do a guided meditation when you're sitting down meditating.
But what about the rest of the time?
And as I was walking down the road in India,
In this in Bombay in the city,
It became apparent that I really needed to start doing guided meditations,
Generally speaking whilst I was wandering around.
Because the mind either is going to have powerful thoughts,
Lovely thoughts,
Or negative thoughts.
And this is actually a profound thing to realize that first of all,
We have a mind.
Secondly,
We can create create thoughts in our mind.
Most people don't realize that they can create their own thoughts.
A lot of people just think they have to put up with it.
All this crazy mind is just going around and around,
I don't like it.
What can I do?
What can I do?
Actually,
We can create our own thoughts.
So let's do a little practice.
So in a moment,
I'm just going to share a few thoughts.
And I would like you to repeat those thoughts in your mind,
Because this is going to prove to you that you can create your own thoughts.
So let's enjoy this thought.
I am a powerful soul.
I am a powerful soul.
I am a powerful soul.
Okay,
Isn't that nice?
That's just three thoughts.
I am a powerful soul.
Yeah,
Just three times.
When I work with people one on one,
I often have them practice little things like this.
And most of the time people experience shifts in their consciousness within about a minute.
And you think if you can change your consciousness in one minute,
Just by thinking different thoughts,
Then can you imagine what can happen if you did it more and more and more throughout the day?
Powerful transformation.
So we want to think beautiful thoughts.
And you can take some time to consider what are the thoughts that you'd like to think?
Hmm.
What are the thoughts that you'd like to think?
What thoughts would lead to the results that you would love to experience in your life?
And you can also explore the opposite.
What are the thoughts that are keeping you from experiencing what you'd like to in your life?
What are the thoughts that are leading to the negative experiences?
And are you willing to let go of them?
And a very deep question to ask yourself is,
What am I getting out of having these negative thoughts?
On some subtle level,
There's usually something we're getting out of it.
Like,
Then if we have these negative weak thoughts,
Then we don't have to take responsibility.
We can just stay weak.
We don't really have to work to create the life we want or something like this.
So we need to explore this.
You can have a little journal exercise.
What are the thoughts that you want to think?
What are the thoughts that you need to let go of?
And with this,
With the actual thoughts,
It's important to look at,
How am I thinking?
So what am I thinking?
And how am I thinking?
What is the awareness and consciousness level that I'm thinking from?
I can think the thought,
I am a powerful soul,
From a place of tension and stress.
It's possible.
You know?
I can think,
I am a powerful soul from the awareness and the thought.
I can think,
I am a powerful soul from the awareness and consciousness of peace,
Love,
And ease,
A place of ease.
And so it's important to look at both sides of this.
What are the thoughts and how are the thoughts?
How am I thinking?
What is the energy I'm coming from?
And when you ask yourself this,
When you simply bring consciousness to what are my thoughts and how are my thoughts,
You'll find it's as if you,
This is a key and you have this key and you've unlocked your ability to change it.
It only really sticks when we're unconscious of it.
You know,
Just this morning I was considering what we were going to share today.
And I was thinking about thoughts and,
And how do I and I was noticing,
I said,
Wait a second,
Where's the place in consciousness I'm thinking from right now?
There was some tension,
There was some stress,
You know,
Some things to do of the day,
Different things.
And the moment I recognized how am I thinking,
Where am I coming from?
It was so easy to change it.
I said,
Oh,
Let me come from a place of ease.
That feels better.
A place of spaciousness,
A place of love,
A place of grace.
And then thinking the powerful thoughts,
It has,
It's like it has the,
The fuel to be effective,
To go and create,
To go and create beauty in your life.
It's like the thought is like the form and how we're thinking,
The consciousness we're coming from is the energy that fills that form and makes it powerful,
The two together.
It's like someone who might be thinking,
I am,
I am a peaceful soul,
But they're feeling stressed.
I'm a peaceful soul,
I'm already a peaceful soul.
So it's,
It's a disturbed place.
So we have to come into the consciousness that I'm not this stressed person.
I'm actually a peaceful soul,
A peaceful,
What does it,
What does it mean to be in that experience?
There's the expression,
The seat of the soul,
The throne of the soul.
So when,
When we remember,
I actually,
I am a powerful being,
Not as a thought,
But as a,
As a feeling,
As an awareness,
A shining light,
Shining light.
Because remember that thoughts,
There's the word shining light,
Peaceful soul,
Powerful soul,
Divine light,
Powerful vibrations.
These are all words.
And then there's the actual thing itself that it's being spoken about,
Which is a different,
Real thing.
So there's the sound,
Words,
The form of the sound,
The spelling of the words and all that sort of thing.
And then there's the actual thing itself.
There's,
There's a tree outside and there's the word tree,
And they're not the same.
So when we're thinking these different thoughts,
We want to get to the actual experience of what we're thinking,
Not get caught up on the words of what we're thinking,
But get into the experience.
So there's the experience of who we are and what we want to feel.
And then we use the words really just as a way of grounding it in to give the mind something to chew on,
Something to consider as we create those thoughts.
And Arel mentioned earlier,
It's one is the content like,
I'm a peaceful soul is the words.
And then how am I saying it?
Am I saying I am a peaceful soul with those of stress?
Or am I saying I am peace?
You know,
So Arel,
How can somebody who might be thinking affirmations and mantras in a stressful way,
How can they change that to thinking it from a peaceful way?
So like I said earlier,
Interestingly enough,
I think the first step is being conscious of how,
Where you're coming from.
I think the first step is just asking yourself,
Where am I coming from right now?
I think that can help break a trance of coming from a tense place.
We all have the ability to soften.
We all have the ability to relax.
It's more,
Am I willing to,
Am I willing to be open?
Am I willing to expand my mind and consciousness?
So I do believe it's a choice,
You know,
And Michael and I have talked about this before.
Sometimes we might be in a very tense place and we're not willing,
You know,
We ask ourselves,
Am I willing to soften and be relaxed?
No,
You know,
So am I willing to be willing?
You know,
So we're empowered,
We're powerful souls,
We are capable of shifting our consciousness.
So it's really a matter of choice.
Can I soften right now?
Can I expand?
Can I explore the real feeling and meaning of this thought?
Because Michael's right,
A lot of people do affirmations and I think it can be somewhat pointless if you're saying these things from a limited,
Tense,
Stressed,
Lower state of consciousness.
It's not going to have any power.
That's one of the reasons people say,
Oh,
It doesn't work.
It doesn't work having powerful thoughts,
You know.
Because powerful thoughts need to have power behind the thoughts,
Behind the thoughts,
Not just the words.
So one way of doing it is to imagine who you would be as the thought you're thinking.
So for example,
If you're saying I am a powerful soul,
Which is a very good thing to think,
By the way,
Then what does a powerful soul look like?
What does a powerful soul feel like?
What do you feel like in your body as a powerful being?
So if you were that,
If you became that,
What would you feel?
What would you experience?
What would you be aware of?
And then think to yourself,
I am a powerful soul from that space.
And if you're feeling sick,
One of the things people do is they might think I am healing or I am healthy or I am strong.
But you're not strong.
That's the thing.
At the time you're feeling sick,
But you have to imagine what it would be like to be strong.
And then think the thought.
So you're holding a vision of what could be or what is on a deeper level.
And then using the mind to fill the gaps,
To create that sound,
That thought in the mind.
So it's the vision,
The feeling and the words all at the same time.
Exactly.
And this is a very important practice for all of us.
I'd say,
Especially in crazy times,
Right?
That was the title of this session,
Especially in crazy times,
Because in crazy times,
There is so much negativity that the mind can be taking in from the media,
From conversations,
Even from the subtle thought vibrations of other souls around us,
Right?
There is so much we can take in,
In crazy times that's very unhealthy and will only send us in a negative spiral.
And the longer that negative spiral goes,
The harder it is to get out of.
So we have to be very careful not to go in that direction.
So these practices are very important for these times,
For crazy times.
We must take responsibility for our minds.
Someone else will if we don't.
Yeah.
We've spoke to various people.
We always talk to people on different groups and coaching courses and everything.
And when people are feeling stressed,
We often ask them,
What have you been doing?
And many times they say,
I've been watching too much news.
So I've been watching too much videos or YouTube or Facebook or whatever,
Because that stuff causes stress,
It causes stress.
There's so much negativity.
You might go on Facebook,
For example,
To try and get positive,
You know,
Messages,
But you find you don't know what you're going to get.
That's the thing.
You don't know what you're going to get.
If you go on social media,
If you go on the news,
You know,
It's going to be bad stuff,
But you don't know what it is.
And that's part of the appeal.
The ego is curious about what this new thing is,
But we absorb all this negativity,
Then it causes us stress.
Then we start thinking about it afterwards and we end up in a spin.
And that spin can actually last years in some people.
Some people are still spinning after,
You know,
20,
30,
40,
50 years.
They've just been spinning the whole time.
So if we want to claim back our mind in crazy times,
We need to,
First of all,
Remove ourselves from unnecessary toxic information,
Because otherwise we think about that stuff.
And then we can start creating our own thoughts.
What do you want to create?
What kind of thoughts and feelings do you want to have?
And this isn't some,
You know,
Dream possibility for some gurus in the mountains and everyone else can't do it.
We can all create powerful thoughts.
Every one of us can.
So it doesn't matter where you are.
It doesn't matter how long you've been doing meditation.
It doesn't matter about any of these things.
You can start creating powerful thoughts now,
Today.
Powerful thoughts,
Beautiful feelings,
Elevated vision.
This is actually going to support your body,
Boost your immune system,
Support your nervous system,
Right?
The mind,
The mind,
The subtle faculty of the soul directly influences the brain,
Which influences the body.
So the greatest healing we can do,
Provide for ourselves,
And then of course,
We're an even greater blessing to others,
Is healing our mind by controlling our mind,
Creating beautiful things,
Going in beautiful directions.
There's a spiritual saying that we have to have a powerful break.
If you're driving down the road and your car doesn't have a break,
You can get into an accident.
If our mind starts going down the wrong road,
We need the power to break,
To stop,
Turn around,
Go down that beautiful path.
There's no use,
There's no benefit.
We've been practicing and teaching spirituality meditation for many years.
I can guarantee you,
In our own experience,
All of the souls we've connected with,
There isn't benefit in going down the wrong road,
Wallowing in it.
Of course,
Yes,
Acknowledge it's there.
We don't need to be in some sort of denial.
You're aware that it's there.
Put a road sign up.
You're aware that it's there.
Don't go there anymore.
Connect with a higher power.
Practice meditation.
Gain the strength to go in the beautiful,
Powerful directions,
So that you can create a healing environment in your own mind,
In your own life,
In the world.
So you can create a beautiful world.
Remember,
Like we said at the beginning,
The mind is like a home.
What do you want to bring into your beautiful,
Precious home,
Into your room,
Into your bedroom,
Into your kitchen?
What do you want?
Do you want beautiful,
Nice,
Clean,
Comfortable things,
Or do you want nasty monsters running around?
So we want to make sure we close the door.
Don't let any of these things in if they're not going to support.
And create a beautiful kingdom.
You can create anything in your mind.
You can create palaces.
You can create beautiful fairy tales and clouds and sunshine and flowers and happy people.
And creating an inner world that's happy is going to make you feel better,
And it's going to help you create a better future.
Thoughts about the past are normally an entirely a waste of time.
Most of the time,
Past-related thinking is pointless.
And most thinking about the future is also just worrying and projecting.
So the future and the past tend to be mostly unnecessary.
How can we create happy thoughts,
Powerful thoughts,
Peaceful thoughts,
And thoughts of what we are becoming?
What we choose to become,
Right?
That's right.
You have that choice.
You're not becoming what someone else told you you were going to become,
Or what society has told you you have to become.
What do you choose to become?
Who do you choose to become?
You are empowered.
You are a powerful soul.
And the more you take in spiritual energy from the divine through meditation,
The more you insist on surrounding yourself with positive influences for your mind.
That's right.
So think to yourself again and again,
The practical thing is,
I am a powerful soul.
This is a good mantra.
Mantras are things that you think with feeling again and again and again and again.
If you were to think,
I am peace,
I am peace,
Or just the word peace,
Divine peace,
Infinite peace,
Divine joy,
Happiness.
Choose the thoughts that you feel good about and think them again and again and again and again and again and again,
Because using your mind to think those things is going to give beautiful things into your kingdom of your inner world.
And the interesting thing is that when you choose powerful thoughts,
You are moving away and destroying negative thoughts,
Because you can only focus on so many things at once.
So if you start to think I am peaceful,
My life is getting better,
Everything is healing,
Those thoughts are pushing away the negative junk,
They are pushing them away.
And as you keep doing it,
They get pushed further and further and further away.
And then you start living in a new world.
So we can't just allow an idle mind as an expression,
The idle mind is the devil's workshop,
The idle mind is the devil's workshop,
Because just random things come in the mind.
So we need to create consciously these thoughts.
And that's what happens in the mind.
And then in the brain,
We're creating new neural pathways.
When the old neural pathways don't get used,
They actually disintegrate,
You know,
The brain has a way of like,
Once they're not used for long enough,
They cease to cease to exist.
The brain creates new pathways.
So it starts with taking control of healing our mind,
Healing our brain,
Healing our body,
Healing our life,
Healing our world,
You know,
It really starts here.
So you are empowered.
You are empowered to create beautiful things in your mind.
And you can use this exploration after having listened to this audio,
To really assess all of the areas of your life,
Because guess what,
They have an effect on your mind,
What we eat,
What we drink,
What we take in has an effect on our mind,
The subtle vibrations of the food,
Of the drink,
The quality of energy,
The energy it was prepared in,
All of that.
All of that.
The people that we spend time with,
The conversations we have,
The things we see,
The things we hear,
The things we watch.
Our environment,
The way if our house is tidy and peaceful,
That's a great benefit to the mind if our home is totally cluttered,
And there's tons of unconscious clutter all over the place.
Not healthy for the mind.
And if you listen to people complaining and moaning about stuff,
That's going to cause you problems in your mind,
Listening to that sort of thing.
So one is creating,
Being a master creator of your thoughts,
Conscious creation.
So you,
The soul,
Creating thoughts.
And the other is you being influenced by the world around you.
And so both are important.
One is the inner and the other is the outer.
Defense and offense.
That's right.
So,
You know,
Have a good listen,
Good look at this.
Re-listen to this audio,
Because these are profound things to realize that you can create your own thoughts and those thoughts can change your feelings and your world.
And that the things around you can either help you have better mind or harm it.
And unfortunately,
This is,
You might as well realize this,
That depression and mental health problems are on the rise and they're causing more problems as time goes on,
Because no one is teaching about the mind,
Hardly at all,
Hardly anyone.
We should have been told about the mind at school.
No classes on the mind and how to control your mind at school.
No classes.
You just don't learn this stuff.
So no one learns these things.
We get all this negative influence for years and years and years.
And of course,
There's mental health crisis going on.
So we have to really be careful because this can happen to anyone.
Anyone can get into anxiety,
Depression,
Stress,
Schizophrenia,
Negative thinking.
It can happen.
We need to manifest an environment that is supportive of a good mind as much as we can and create powerful thoughts.
Create powerful thoughts so that we avoid these problems.
So you are worth it.
Value yourself,
Value your life to do this.
It's worth it.
It's your life,
Right?
You're with you for all of eternity.
You will always have your mind.
So it's so worth it.
You are so worth it.
And be compassionate,
Be gentle,
Of course,
What we're saying,
Completely transforming our mind.
It takes effort.
It takes time.
It takes patience,
Takes love,
But stay with it.
Take the time.
And you know,
If your mind gets off on its own little crazy area,
You just say,
Now,
Now,
Now,
That's,
That's,
Thank you very much,
But we need to move it back over here.
You know,
We have a loving,
Compassionate,
Like a child.
The mind is habitual.
It's got bad habits.
So if it goes in a direction that's not of the greatest benefit,
You say,
All right,
I recognize this is happening and I'm bringing the wandering child back home to safety.
You know,
Put your mind,
Create beautiful thoughts,
Create a nice environment.
And it's an ongoing practice.
You can either create thoughts that bring you benefit or you can let your mind cause trouble.
You know,
These are the two options,
Basically.
So the more we create thoughts,
The more we are producing a new happy life,
Peaceful life.
Isn't that beautiful?
So beautiful,
Such a blessing,
A blessing to yourself,
A blessing to those you spend time with,
A blessing to our world.
Can you imagine if every soul on this planet was healing their mind,
Controlling their mind in a positive direction?
Can you imagine the shift in vibrations,
The shift in what we say,
The shift in what we do,
How we cooperate with one another?
Right?
It would be profound.
So we can at least do it ourselves.
Right?
We can at least do it ourselves.
So you can create thoughts and just imagine as if you're giving a guided meditation to yourself all the time,
Very nice thoughts.
Very nice thoughts,
Beautiful thoughts,
Peaceful thoughts.
So this is our loving homework to you.

You can do this.
You are totally worth it.
