Let's start this meditation by arriving in your comfortable meditative position,

Whatever that looks like for you.

Whether that is seated with the spine long,

Crown of the head reaching for the constellations.

Or whether that is laying down on the floor,

Your couch,

Or your recliner.

Take a moment to settle into a position where the spine is unobstructed,

So you can take a nice,

Full,

Long,

Deep breath.

Close down the eyes,

Or soften the gaze,

And let's begin to clear out your current energy with the breath.

Take a deep inhale through the nose,

Exhale,

Open mouth sigh.

Another inhale through the nose,

This time hold it at the top just for a sip,

And exhale,

Big release out the mouth.

One more inhale through the nose,

Little extra sip at the top,

And full exhale out.

Let it go.

Return to your natural rhythm of breath,

And just notice where the breath is circulating in your body right now.

Now bring your attention to your tailbone,

The base of your spine.

Bring your awareness to the gentle hug of the earth beneath you,

Supporting your tailbone.

Now start to breathe into the points where your body meets the earth.

Breathe low into those points of connection.

Breathe so low and so deep that each breath roots you to the ground beneath you.

Continue to send breath into all the points where your body meets the ground.

Allow this breath to anchor you into your body.

Feel the security of the earth beneath you,

Holding you.

Feel the heels where they meet the ground.

Feel the calves where they meet the ground.

Feel the back of the thighs where they meet the ground.

Feel the glutes become heavy on the ground.

Feel the hips where they meet the ground.

Feel the low back,

Mid back,

And upper back where they meet the ground.

Feel the spine connect with the ground.

Feel the whole back connect with the ground.

Feel the arms where they meet the ground.

Feel the backs of your hands where they meet the ground.

Feel the shoulder blades connect with the ground.

Become aware of the back of the head where it connects with the ground.

Become aware of the whole body connect with the ground.

Feel your body become heavy on the ground,

Fully supported by the earth beneath you.

Feel your body relax even more as it melts to the ground.

Become aware of the breath.

Take a few easy cycles of breath here.

We're going to move into a breath technique where you will inhale through the nose,

Pause at the top for a few seconds,

Exhale out the mouth completely,

Then pause at the bottom for a few seconds.

So follow along with me.

Inhale in through the nose,

Pause and gently hold at the top,

Noticing where the oxygen takes up space.

Then exhale slowly out the mouth.

At the end of your exhale,

Hold it at the bottom,

Embracing the void.

We'll take that again.

Now inhale in through the nose,

Hold it at the top,

And exhale out the mouth,

Hold it at the bottom.

Continue at your own pace.

Inhale through the nose,

Pausing at the top,

And exhale through the mouth,

Pausing at the bottom of the breath.

Exploring the void between each cycle of breath.

As you breathe,

Notice how by becoming aware of the pauses,

How your body naturally follows this beautiful pattern,

Easily transitioning from the inhale to the exhale,

Like a soft ocean wave.

As you inhale,

The wave comes to shore,

And as you exhale,

It gracefully recedes.

Each round of breath,

Seamlessly connected.

Now see yourself lying down.

See yourself in your own space,

Completely relaxed.

You begin to see the walls in your room falling away.

Then the bricks of your building start to fall away.

And eventually,

All of the buildings on your street start to fall away.

Laying in this exact spot where your space once was,

You now lay on a soft bed of grass,

Under a tall tree,

As soft glimmers of sunshine hover over you.

You start to see roots draw out from under you,

Where your body meets the grass.

These roots that are coming out of your body begin to intertwine with the roots of the tree nearby.

Then they continue to grow.

Your roots grow throughout the soil,

Eventually spreading beyond and continuing to expand deep throughout the entire earth.

As you expand,

Your roots soak in all the physical and spiritual nourishment from every corner of earth.

All the pure goodness in its energy gets soaked up by your root-connected body,

Making you feel even more grounded and connected to your body.

After your roots have absorbed all that it has needed to,

They start to slowly retract back into your space and slowly back into your body.

You take a moment to bathe in the earth's goodness,

The generosity,

The beauty,

And the forgiveness.

As your body absorbs the nutrients from the roots,

You start to see flowers begin to blossom on your body.

The flowers reflect the colors of your soul,

And the shape of the flowers are all unique and different,

Just like your aura.

You see these flowers start to bloom at your ankles,

Then your knees,

Up to your hips,

Then across your torso,

Over your chest,

Up to the space between your eyebrows,

And eventually at the crown of your head.

Soak in this feeling of connection with all that is around and all that blooms within.

Begin to reawaken by deepening your breath.

Take any movement that feels natural to you to come back into your body.

Maybe you tap your thumb pad to each of your other fingers.

Maybe you softly wiggle your toes.

Or you take a full body stretch,

Reaching for all corners of the physical space you are in.

Thank you so much for joining me today,

For showing up for yourself,

And trusting me to be your guide.

Happy Taurus Season!
