Hello,
My name is Avery Nava,
And welcome to this quick centering meditation.
This short centering meditation is crafted for individuals who often find themselves scattered or mentally cluttered.
Centering is a vital practice for those who need to regain focus,
Especially when feeling pulled in different directions by thoughts,
Emotions,
Or external demands.
It is an excellent tool for realigning with your inner self and finding a sense of inner stability and peace.
Now let's begin.
Find a comfortable and quiet space where you can sit or stand undisturbed.
Gently close your eyes and begin by taking a deep breath in and slowly exhaling.
Start with a deep and slow breath.
Let's do it together.
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Inhale tranquility,
Exhale confusion.
Allow your body to relax with each breath,
Releasing tension from your muscles.
Imagine your mind as a busy,
Cluttered room.
With each breath,
Visualize this room becoming more organized and serene,
Allowing thoughts and worries to be placed aside,
Creating a clear and open space.
With each exhale,
Let go of distractions and disturbances.
Feel your mind becoming more focused and calm.
Now bring your focus to the center of your being.
Perhaps for you,
This is your heart area or a point within your abdomen.
Envision a gentle light or energy at this center point.
With each breath,
Fill this center,
Becoming stronger and more stable.
Sense the calmness and clarity radiating from this center,
Filling your entire being.
In these last moments,
Affirm to yourself,
I am centered.
I am focused.
I am at peace with my inner self.
Feel the truth and strength of these words,
Anchoring you in a state of mental clarity and stability.
Gently begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Move your fingers and toes and slowly reawaken your body.
That was all it takes.
As you open your eyes,
Maintain this sense of centeredness.
Try carrying it with you throughout the rest of your day.
Sending you many blessings as you continue your day's journey.
