My name is Avery Nava,

And welcome to this Get Me Grounded Now quick 3-minute meditation designed to be an effective way to ground yourself,

Especially useful during busy days and moments of stress.

It helps in reconnecting with the present moment and helping find stability no matter where you are.

In just three minutes,

We are going to take you from stressed and anxious to nice and calm and grounded.

So I'm inviting you now to find a place where you are safe and comfortable,

Where you can close your eyes and relax just for the next three minutes.

Find a comfortable position where you are sitting or lying down or even standing.

Gently close your eyes or lower your gaze,

Take a deep breath in,

And slowly exhale.

Begin by taking three deep breaths,

Deep intentional breaths.

Inhale slowly,

Feel the air filling your lungs and belly,

And exhale very slowly and gradually releasing any tension or stress.

With each exhale,

Let go of any thoughts or distractions.

Let's do it together.

Breathe in through the nose,

Feel the lungs and belly,

Exhale relax and let go of thoughts and distractions.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Last one,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Now shift your focus to your body.

Notice any areas of tension or discomfort.

Mentally scan from the top of your head down to your toes,

With each breath imagining releasing tension and inviting relaxation.

Now visualize roots extending from the soles of your feet deep into the earth.

Feel these roots anchor you,

Connecting you to the earth's stable grounding and loving energy.

With each inhale now,

Draw up the strength and stability from the earth,

And with each exhale release the feelings of being unsettled or unbalanced.

Bring your attention to your heart,

The center of your chest,

Envision a warm and grounding light there,

Radiating calmness and stability.

Feel yourself becoming more centered,

More present in this moment,

Grounded and secure.

Begin to bring your awareness back to your surroundings,

Wiggle your fingers and toes gently moving your body.

Now take one last deep breath,

Feeling fully present and grounded in this moment.

That was all it takes.

As you open your eyes or lift your gaze,

I invite you to carry this energy with you now.

I am wishing you the very best of luck and sending you many blessings as you move into the rest of your day.

Please come back to this meditation anytime you need a moment to ground yourself.

I'm so happy to hold space for you to do so.
