I am Avery Nava and welcome to a meditation inspired by the energy of the waxing moon in Scorpio.

The astrological energy of the waxing moon in Scorpio is intense and transformative.

Scorpio is a water sign ruled by the planet Pluto,

Associated with deep emotions,

Power,

And rebirth.

When the moon is waxing in Scorpio,

It signifies a period of increased emotional intensity,

Passion,

And the potential for personal growth and transformation.

During this time you may find yourself drawn to explore your innermost desires and uncover hidden truths about yourself.

You may find that you want to confront deep-seated emotions.

Scorpio energy really encourages introspection and self-reflection,

The Scorpionic energy is a perfect time to put energy into shadow work.

So as you settle into a comfortable position,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in.

And exhale slowly,

Allowing your body to relax.

Now let's begin to find ourselves in the body,

Feeling the parts of the body that are touching the floor.

Take a deep breath in.

And exhale,

Releasing tension out with the breath.

Finding softness in your face,

In your jaw,

In your shoulders,

Your chest,

Your belly,

Your hips,

Your legs,

And your feet.

Bring your awareness to the parts of the body that are touching the floor.

Feel the way that gravity assists in sending you down towards the earth,

Connecting.

Today we embark on a journey of self-discovery,

Delving into the depths of our being to explore the realms of shadow work.

In the realm of shadows lies this unexplored aspect of ourselves,

The parts we tend to deny and hide and overlook.

It is here,

In the darkness,

That we find our deepest wounds and fears and insecurities.

Yet it is also where we discover profound insights and wisdom and the potential for profound transformation.

As you venture into this introspective space,

Remember to approach with compassion and non-judgment.

The purpose of shadow work is not to condemn or criticize ourselves,

But to shine the light of awareness on the hidden corners of our psyche.

It is an act of courage and self-love,

An acknowledgement that every part of us deserves understanding and acceptance.

Allow your mind to wander through the landscape of your memories,

Experiences,

And relationships.

Notice the reoccurring themes,

The patterns that have shaped your existence.

These patterns,

Though rooted in the shadows,

Hold valuable insights into your authentic self.

Be gentle with yourself as you encounter aspects of your shadow that may be unsettling or challenging.

Remember you are not defined by these shadowy aspects,

They are simply fragments of your whole.

Notice any resistance or discomfort that arises within you as you explore the shadowy realms.

These emotions are normal and indicate the presence of deeply ingrained patterns and conditioning.
