Feel grounded, stable and secure. This guided meditation uses the seed mantra "Lam" and breath awareness to align us with the elemental qualities of earth. Connect with your true nature as you root energetically into the support of mother earth.

Welcome to this meditation that allows us to align ourselves with the Earth element.

Earth represents our connection to tribal consciousness.

It allows us to feel rooted,

Grounded,

And safe.

Earth gives form to the human body and to all of creation.

Find your upright posture.

Let your feet rest flat on the floor and rest your palms down comfortably in your lap.

Feel your bones and allow yourself to connect to the ground on which you sit or stand.

Connect with your breath.

And as you breathe in and out through your nose,

Imagine sending your exhalation down through your legs,

Your feet,

And into the Earth below.

Allow your exhalations to slow down as you settle into your Earth body and your breath.

Now connect with your centering thought.

I am grounded in the Earth,

Stable and secure.

I am grounded in the Earth,

Stable and secure.

Now we will connect with the sound of our Earth element,

LAM,

Our seed mantra,

LAM,

To help us connect with the qualities of Earth.

You will silently repeat the mantra LAM each time you exhale.

LAM,

LAM.

Please continue your silent repetition of the mantra LAM with each exhalation.

I'll track the time.

If you find yourself getting distracted or moving away from the mantra,

Just return to your breath and LAM.

Please gently bring your awareness back into your breath,

Noticing the long,

Slow quality of your exhalations.

Now deepen your breath in,

Your breath out,

And bring your awareness back to your centering thought.

I am grounded in the Earth,

Stable and secure.

Together now,

Let's chant the mantra LAM out loud.

Please inhale deeply.

LAM.

Breathe the element of Earth back in.

Bring your hands gently together at your heart in a prayer position.

Bow lips toward fingertips and we'll honor the time we have taken to connect with ourselves and feel more aligned with the element of Earth.
