Hello,
And welcome to this guided meditation designed to alleviate anxiety and invite more joy into your experience.
Let's begin by making sure that we are sitting or lying in a comfortable,
Spacious,
And supported position.
Allow a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Let the eyes close,
Withdrawing your attention inside.
Notice your breath,
And for now,
Just allow your breath to flow however it wants to.
Notice your jaw.
Breathe into the sensations in your jaw,
And as you exhale,
Allow your jaw to soften and release,
Letting go of any tension that you may be feeling there.
Exhale and imagine that you are breathing in ease.
And when you exhale,
Imagine any sense of worry or fear fading.
Take another breath in,
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself continuing to let go of any worry.
Notice that you are becoming more relaxed.
Allow another breath to come in naturally,
Allowing for a feeling of optimism,
Of lightness,
Brightness to come in upon your breath.
And as you let it go,
Notice how any sense of depression,
Weight,
Or burden eases and fades.
Allow a gentle wave of relaxation to sweep over you as you breathe in and breathe out.
Let your breath continue to flow naturally,
And allow yourself to feel calm and peaceful,
Deepening into a sense of serenity.
Now be open.
Allow yourself to receive new thoughts,
Feeling that you open up even more with each breath you take in.
Each inhalation allowing for fresh and new energy,
Open to that new ideas may present themselves to you.
Allow for a feeling of abundance,
Of plenty,
Abundance so unlimited that you can easily share and allow others to enjoy the abundance that flows from you.
Imagine that you are energized and feel a vitality and a zest for life.
See yourself vividly energetic,
Full of enthusiasm and optimism.
Perhaps you will visualize this as though you are watching a movie,
Or it may be more of a sensation within your body.
There's not a wrong way.
Allow yourself to connect in a way that feels natural to you.
Allow that you are motivated and taking steps toward achievement and progress.
Stay with your breath and allow your intentions to remain positive.
Even if we're not necessarily feeling it completely in this moment,
Or maybe we came into this meditation not fully in this space,
Imagine it.
There's power in that.
Imagine what being joyful is like.
Breathe into this joy that you are creating and notice how you are consciously shifting away from depressed or anxious thoughts right now into peaceful feelings instead.
Enjoying your breath,
Inhaling deeply and letting your exhalation completely relax you.
Notice that any thoughts that may have previously held you back become smaller and smaller,
Diminishing in the distance behind you.
Feel that you are freed from their grip,
Moving into more ease.
Notice how you feel as you allow yourself to access this place of freedom,
Freedom from worry,
Embracing ease,
Embracing joy.
Notice and feel the changes from this moment right now and how you might have felt when we began this meditation.
Bring your breath back into focus.
Once again,
Feeling how inhalations open,
Expand and allow for more joy in your body,
In your being and how exhalations allow for more ease,
More relaxation and more release.
Inhale.
.
.
Exhale.
And as you are ready,
Softly allow your eyes to open,
Trusting that you can move forward from here in a gentler,
Kinder,
Easier,
More relaxed and joyful way.
Thank you and Namaste.
