Human Being.

Human Being.

Exploring the body of this human being.

Becoming aware of the sensations that are present.

Becoming aware of the sensations that are present.

Feeling into the direct experience of this moment.

Feeling into the direct experience of this moment.

The direct experience of this moment.

What is present in the body?

Sensations in the hands,

Knees,

Feet,

Back,

Throat,

Head,

Chest,

Hips,

Toes.

Exploring this body.

Being here.

Being here.

Noticing the felt sense of being.

Noticing the felt sense of being.

Feeling into those sensations.

Coming to know them.

As much as is possible in this moment.

Feeling into those sensations.

Feeling into those sensations.

Feeling into those sensations.

Feeling into those sensations.

Our ability to be present will ebb and flow like all things.

It's no problem.

We just keep practicing.

And practicing.

And practicing.

Coming to know.

And being gentle.

And being gentle.

The mind will wander.

It's okay.

Each time we notice,

We just come back to whatever our object of meditation is.

Firmly,

Gently,

Kindly returning to the here and now.

Resting in awareness of the body.

Resting in awareness of the body.

Being.

Being.

However it is.

Allowing that to be okay.

However it is.

Allowing that to be okay.

Resting in awareness of the body.

Resting in awareness of the body.

Resting in awareness of the body.

Resting in awareness of the body.

Enjoying the sound of the bell.

Being fully present to hearing.

Hearing the sound arise.

Listening as it's sustained for a while.

Hearing and experiencing as it diminishes.

Knowing when we can no longer hear the sound of the bell.

Being.

Being.

Being.

Being.

Being.

Gently inviting the eyes to open if they were closed.

And bringing in the space that you're in the light and the dark.

The shadows and the reflections.

Gradually beginning to move the body with full awareness and presence.

And may this presence be there throughout the day accessible to you as you practice being present,

Being aware.

A nice meditation with little guidance and long stretches of silence. I like it this way. Thank you.

Minimalist instruction good for a more experienced person. I very much appreciate long silences to sit with a cue and settle in. Thank you for this meditation on being.
