
Unlocking Your Full Potential

Sometimes life, and all it throws at you, can leave you feeling "why me?" What you do and how you think may have more to do with what comes your way than you believe. Welcome to my 20-minute morning meditation. It's a simple one too.

Good morning,
What a blessing it is to have another beautiful day ahead of us.
You may not know it yet,
But there's endless possibilities out there for you.
I'm Adam,
And I'll be guiding you through this morning meditation where you'll be tapping into the source of your potential.
Our full potential is often blocked by false assumptions,
Self-judgements,
And negative thoughts that we create as a response to what happens to us.
When you be begin to understand that life is not working against you,
But instead it is working for you,
Your life will change.
So this meditation is about making a shift within yourself to unlock your full potential.
To begin,
Sit in a comfortable and relaxed position,
Maybe on a chair with your arms unfolded,
Or sitting cross-legged on the floor.
Wherever you are,
Make sure that your back is upright and supported.
And close your eyes.
Start by taking a few deep breaths,
Slightly deeper than normal but one not forced.
Allow the breath to fill the belly.
A smooth,
Continuous,
Deep flow of breath.
If you can,
Breathe in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
Another deep breath.
In through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
Simply continue breathing like that.
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Until your breathing falls into a comfortable,
Relaxed and smooth rhythm.
The curious things happen when you breathe deeper like this.
The awareness of your breath anchors you in the present moment.
The depth of the breath is filling your body with energy.
Feel yourself expanding.
Become aware of any changes of sensation in your body with every breath.
It is normal for your fingers to start tingling.
That's the influx of energy filling every cell of your body.
Keep your awareness on your breathing.
If any thoughts come to disturb you,
As they will,
Allow them to come and go,
But always return to the breath.
Today is a day full of endless possibility.
All you have to do is keep your heart and mind open.
Simply be ready for anything.
Be ready to enjoy every moment,
And know that anything can happen in those moments.
Now focus on the area of your forehead,
Just above the centre of your eyebrows.
This is the area we call the third eye chakra,
One of the energy centres in the body.
Imagine a deep blue coloured light tapping that area that spots on your forehead,
Just above the centre of your eyebrows.
Continue imagining this deep blue light tapping on your forehead,
Knowing that this is helping the mysterious workings of the universe align with your full potential.
Your incredible potential comes within you,
Make that focus within you,
Focusing on the third eye chakra and the light tapping there.
Every day is a series of aha moments,
Every moment and experience a lesson.
Today will provide an endless amount of those lessons.
Open your heart and mind to receive what is being sent to you today.
Allow your awareness to move freely out into the world,
The expansion of every breath.
You can experience anything in these moments,
Whatever comes,
Welcome it into your life with open arms of acceptance.
If you haven't done so already,
You can stop imagining the tapping on your forehead and then rest your awareness in the depth of your body.
Feel your own expansion with every breath.
Let the expansion of your awareness stretch out beyond you.
Be aware of your own world today,
No matter what happens,
Be aware of what is really going on.
These are lessons to learn.
Allow yourself to observe every moment and see it for the glory and blessing that it is,
Even those times when you are angry.
As you continue to expand outwards,
Also let your awareness go deep within you,
Deep within to your true self.
Those things that make us angry in life are usually things within ourselves that rest incomplete,
They are somehow buried deep within us.
When life gives you a moment like that,
Take the time to just look within yourself and see what is being reflected to you in your world.
Acknowledge it,
Accept it,
Accept who you are,
Because there is no right or wrong.
The fullness of each moment is yours to experience and own.
Every single one is a unique and special moment,
Full of endless possibilities.
Allow those possibilities to come forth.
Remember to debreathe deeply,
Not just now,
But all through your day.
With every breath expand your awareness.
With each breath you take today,
Be aware of what is going on around you and throughout the day.
It is the creation of a picture and you are the centre piece.
Allow the picture to come together naturally,
Everything is there for a reason.
It all fits together perfectly for you.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Allow your awareness to drift inside.
Deep within yourself is a place of absolute stillness and peace.
This is your true self,
This is the source of your full potential and your connection to the source.
Be aware of it and know that anything is possible.
Continue to rest your awareness here and if thoughts come to disturb you as they will,
Acknowledge them,
Accept them and allow them to drift away like clouds drift away in the sky and then return to this place within you.
Continue doing this for some time.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now follow the trail of your expanded awareness deeper inwards.
Now return to normal breathing,
Just a gentle breath.
Become aware of your surroundings.
When you're ready begin to move fingers,
Toes,
And your wrists and ankles and slowly arms and legs.
Take your time.
When you're ready slowly open your eyes.
Meditation practice has now ended.
