Welcome to an energising guided meditation with me,
Adam.
If you've woken up and you need a kickstart to your day,
Or if you find yourself lacking vital energy,
Then you've made a good choice.
We often leak much of our energy through recurring and negative thought patterns that keep us stuck either dwelling in the past or fixated on the future.
Sometimes those patterns have been accidentally embodied as strapped emotional energy and toxins that are harmful to our health.
It's time to break those patterns,
Release the toxins and free the flow of blocked energy within you.
To begin this morning meditation,
Position yourself where you can find a comfortable stillness,
Somewhere you'll remain uninterrupted for the next 20 minutes.
Consciously allowing this time for yourself to cultivate the inner health and wellbeing you deserve,
I suggest you close your eyes to signal to your body and mind that there's about to be a change of focus.
As you begin your mindful practice,
Maintain as best you can your calm and alert presence,
Setting your attentions towards clearing and focusing yourself in mind,
Body and spirit for the coming day ahead.
If you are sitting,
Allow your spine to extend upright,
Your head,
Shoulders and torso to come into a comfortable and easy alignment,
Allowing a sense of energy in your body to awaken,
Opening your energy with an improving flow.
Or if you are lying flat on your back,
Allow your neck and spine to extend in length and naturally,
Your legs relaxed with your toes rolling outwards,
Hands a little away from your sides,
Palms facing up.
If any tensions or discomforts are lingering from the night before,
Allow them room to unwind naturally through the expansiveness of this practice.
Your eyes remain closed to the outside world,
Yet behind your eyes there is a part of you that is beyond your own behaviours,
A part of you that is not your thoughts but is able to simply witness them.
This part of you is becoming conscious and alert,
Awakening with engaged awareness.
If you can't discover a relaxed stillness growing there within your body,
Discovering a calm stillness growing within your mind,
Leave your tendency to be doing things at the door.
This is not the time for activities,
Work duties or family responsibilities.
Instead give yourself the permission to do nothing,
To simply be,
Becoming present to each moment,
Witnessing that part of you that is unfolding internally,
Revealing the stillness within.
Restlessness,
Irritation or a sense of frustration may cause you to want to move from time to time.
Try to just watch any impulse to move.
Any need to move will probably fade away if you just watch.
Let go of any habits or compulsions to be doing anywhere else and become mindful of each moment.
Begin to draw your attention to your breathing and notice your inward flowing breath,
Then your outward flowing breath.
Just watch your breathing,
No need to change it.
Just witnessing the natural tidal flow of each breath and notice the feelings of each breath as they come and go.
Without forcing or trying to control the breath,
Notice the sensations of the breath in the nostrils,
The air brushing past the skin of your nose.
Feel the change in temperature as the air is warmed by the body.
Observing the air as it is accepted by the body,
Passing through the airway of the throat into the open expanse of the lungs and the chest centre.
Continue your awareness of breathing as the air travels down further into the body,
Releasing any lightness or holding on in the belly as the air flows.
With awareness on the breath,
Your ability to let go of tension may become easier,
Manifesting a greater sense of release.
As you gently return,
You are observing focus to the easy flow of each breath.
Expand upon this mindful practice by imagining each inhale draws in healing vitality from the clear air around you.
Visualise this as a flow of colourful,
Abundant health,
Any colour you wish,
Drawing the healthy air into your body.
In contrast,
Imagine every breath out to be eliminating all toxins held within you.
Release flow of clearing,
Cleansing energy from the body.
Become aware of the breathing muscles,
Those that make room in the chest for deeper breathing.
Begin to breathe out more completely,
Nor forcefully,
Just be conscious that you are breathing out fully.
As if breathing comes directly from the very core of your body,
From the centre of your being.
Perhaps breathe consciously and directly into any body part that you choose,
Any organ,
Muscle or nerve that needs attention.
Now it is time to let go of whatever happened yesterday,
Any activities,
Spoken words,
Regrets or grievances.
Consciously give yourself permission to let go of anything that does not belong here,
Now.
Allow yourself to breathe beyond all of yesterday's thoughts.
If you could imagine a symbolic cord that binds you to the past,
Imagine cutting that cord and attach.
Imagine if needed,
Through any past troubles or concerns that may linger out over the horizons of your imagination.
With all the troubles gone,
Acknowledge everything that has brought you into the present moment.
The reality is that this present day,
This time here,
Is much more important to you logically and emotionally than the past.
You understand and feel that each day you are alive,
It is an opening to a brand new beginning.
If you look you will see a wealth of new opportunities and new choices that come by each day.
The open blank canvas awaits,
Ready to be filled and enjoyed with all the possibilities.
In a moment I'm going to speak to you,
A series of seemingly random words,
But each of these words have their own special meaning,
Their own special quality.
Your path is to allow your higher self to quietly reflect upon or visualize or explore these words.
Choosing one or two or more of these meanings to take focus and root somewhere within you positively as you contemplate them.
Livelyness,
Openness,
Flexibility,
Confidence,
Resilience,
Warmth,
Good humour,
Passion,
Gratitude,
Abundance,
Productivity,
Prosperity,
Friendliness,
Forthrightness,
Vitality,
Calmness,
Self-expression,
Authenticity,
Higher wisdom,
Love,
Forgiveness,
Loving kindness,
Love,
And a sense of belonging.
Now you can take some time to remain in this space,
Reflecting and exploring further as much as you need.

Now bringing yourself back to a full and complete alert awareness of your surroundings.
Trusting and knowing over time that the universe itself is aligning to your best intentions.
Feeling calm,
Confident,
Present,
Energised and open to the universe and its abundance of your coming day.
Now energise yourself as you open your eyes,
Your eyes so clear and awake as if they have been bathed in a splash of pure and refreshing mountain spring water.
I wish you a profoundly happy and peaceful day as you set your new energised intentions into motion.
