You are in control of yourself. Relax in your seat as you listen to this guided meditation to get over any fear of flying and become confident with your ability to face challenges. Let go of any worries or negative thoughts, control your breath, and focus on the excitement for the trip ahead.

Alright,

So just take a moment to just allow your mind and your body to relax,

And just find yourself in a comfortable position,

And just bring your awareness to your breath,

Allowing it to go in and out,

Following its natural rhythm and pace,

Giving yourself permission to just relax and receive.

Just allow yourself to close your eyes,

And take your breath in and out,

And just notice a wave of relaxation from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head,

And with each breath you take in,

You're breathing in relaxation and peacefulness,

And with each exhale,

You're letting go of any tension or stress,

Just letting go,

Knowing that you're in complete control of this experience,

Just noticing that the sound of my voice and the sound of the music take you deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Any other sounds that you might hear are just the sounds of everyday living,

And they too can take you deeper and deeper into relaxation.

So in this very relaxed state,

Just allow your body to unwind,

Filling your lungs with fresh air,

And exhaling,

Releasing any tension or stress,

Breathing in relaxation and peacefulness,

Letting go of any worries or negative thoughts,

And just know that if a thought comes into your mind,

Just allow it to come and go as it needs to,

And just allow yourself to fully relax and embrace this moment of peace,

And with your eyes closed,

Just imagine yourself in a peaceful setting,

Perhaps a beautiful beach or a serene garden,

Maybe a beautiful forest,

Lake,

Or mountain,

Just really imagine the vibrant colors,

And feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,

Hear the soothing sounds of nature all around you,

And as you experience this peaceful place,

Just let go of any worries or fear you have about flying,

And just remind yourself that you're safe,

And you're protected,

And now imagine yourself at the airport,

Feeling calm and confident,

And just watch yourself and imagine yourself in the process of checking in,

Passing through security,

And boarding the plane with ease,

See yourself finding your seat,

Feeling comfortable and secure,

And really imagine the flight attendants and the pilots,

Imagine them coming and moving around the plane,

Knowing that they are highly trained professionals who are there to ensure your safety,

And in your imagination as the plane takes off,

Imagine a sense of excitement filling your body,

Just really beginning to feel the excitement of your trip and your travels,

And just visualize yourself looking out of the window and seeing the world from a new perspective,

Noticing how peaceful and serene the sky appears,

And how smoothly the plane glides through the air,

Moving and guiding in exactly the way it was designed,

And now just focus on your breathing,

Slowing it down,

Noticing how as you inhale,

The air feels cool,

And as you exhale through your nose,

How it feels warm,

And with each breath,

Imagine a wave of relaxation washing over you,

Taking any remaining tension or fear with it,

And feel your body becoming more and more relaxed as you are floating on a cloud,

And as I say the following affirmations,

I want you to repeat them to yourself in your mind,

I am safe and secure during my flight,

I trust the expertise of the pilot and the flight crew,

I am calm and confident throughout the journey,

I embrace the excitement and the joy of flying,

I am in control of my thoughts and emotions,

And you can repeat these affirmations several times,

Allowing the positive and empowering messages to sink deeply into your understanding,

Becoming a very important part of your belief system,

And as we come to an end of this guided meditation,

I want you to imagine yourself stepping off the plane after a successful and enjoyable flight,

Feeling a sense of accomplishment,

Confidence,

And pride in overcoming that fear of flying.

You know that you have the power within you to face any challenge and embrace new experiences with confidence.

In a moment,

I'll count from 1 to 5,

And when I reach the number 5,

You will open your eyes,

Feeling refreshed,

Rejuvenated,

And free from the fear of flying,

And you will carry this confidence with you whenever you step onto an airplane.

One,

You're getting more alert.

Two,

Feeling refreshed,

And at any time you want to return to this,

You can.

Three,

Feeling great now.

Four,

Alert and refreshed.

Five,

When you're ready to open your eyes and feel great,

You can open your eyes,

Take a deep breath,

And welcome back.
