
Sleep Meditation
Allow yourself to relax, close your eyes, and let your mind move through the Alpha, Theta, and then, finally, Delta brain waves in this guided meditation to slow your mind and body into a sweet slumber.

Okay.
It's time to relax and take a few moments to allow ourselves this time to close our eyes and get comfortable knowing that it is good for us to take care of ourselves.
And part of that is relaxing to go into a deep,
Comfortable sleep.
And if you're ready to relax,
I want you to take a breath in and as you breathe out,
Allow your eyes to close.
With your eyes now closed,
You can begin to relax.
Just focus on your breathing,
It's natural rhythm of breathing in and out,
In and out.
From your breathing,
I want you for a little while to focus on your body and start at the top of your head and just allow your scalp to relax.
Imagine that you're having your scalp massaged and that all the tension is leaving.
Let that feeling of relaxation and tension just washing away spread down to your eyes.
Imagine the little muscles around your eyes relaxing.
Imagine that they are relaxing so completely,
They just don't work.
Imagine that every word I say is relaxing them so completely,
They just won't work.
These muscles are relaxing naturally.
When you realize that your eyes are so relaxed,
They just won't work,
You can test them and find that they are completely locked and there is nothing you can do about that,
But just sit and allow yourself these moments.
That's right,
Let that relaxation spread down to the jaw and allow those muscles in your jaw to relax completely now.
Allow your tongue to relax in your mouth.
The muscles in your neck relax completely.
And let that feeling spread down to your shoulders.
Imagine you are having your shoulders massaged.
Feel those muscles relaxing completely.
It feels so good.
Let that feeling spread down to your arms,
Your biceps,
Your forearms,
Your wrists,
Palms and fingers.
And as you do that,
You may become more aware of certain sensations.
Just allow them to come and go and for a moment just focus on your breathing,
In and out.
Imagine that you are breathing in calmness and relaxation,
And you are breathing out tension and stress.
Breathing in calm and breathing out tension.
And allow the muscles in your chest to relax.
Letting that feeling spread down to your stomach,
Your hips,
Your thighs and your legs.
Allow that feeling to spread to the muscles in your calves,
Ankles,
Feet,
And your little bitty toes.
Let every muscle relax completely.
Thanking them for doing their job today and taking care of you and supporting you as you've gone and done amazing things.
Allow them to loosen and relax.
Every word I say is going to bring more relaxation and calmness as you go deeper into a relaxing state.
That's right,
As you continue to go deeper and relax further,
We're going to spend a little time allowing ourselves to understand and believe new messages.
When I was a child,
I used to sit down,
Resting against trees,
Gazing up at the clouds as they drifted across the sky.
And I used to wonder whether there could be someone out there,
Sitting beneath a tree,
Gazing up at the same sky,
Watching those same clouds,
Wondering whether there could be someone out there in space,
Sitting beneath a tree,
Gazing up at the sky,
Watching those clouds.
And I used to wonder what their clouds would look like from their perspective,
And what their space would look like from where they were on the planet.
And I wonder what you think it would feel like to be sat beneath a tree,
Gazing into the sky,
Looking at the clouds,
Wondering whether there is someone out there sitting beneath a tree,
Gazing up at the clouds.
And I wonder what you think their trees would look like,
And what their weather would be like,
And what their clouds would look like,
And how effortless it can be to drift across space and time to different places in the mind.
As you drift deeper into relaxing,
You can experience wondering what would be different for them,
What it would feel like to be them,
What would be different about the way they think as they live their lives,
And as they go and do their day,
And overcome challenges,
And have achievements,
And learn about themselves,
And explore life with curiosity and wonder and excitement,
And achieve great change,
Without even knowing how it happened,
Or how it was possible.
And as we learn to believe new things,
Without fully understanding how,
We can begin to trust that new patterns and new behaviors can take root.
And each night as you go to bed,
You'll be at ease and relaxed.
You'll feel relaxed and calm,
Knowing that every day is a new adventure.
Even though some days may have challenges,
And things we don't particularly like,
Every day can still be an adventure.
Starting now as you go to bed every night,
You'll be calm and at ease,
And your mind and your body will be calm,
Tranquil,
And relaxed.
You'll be able to sleep calmly,
At peace,
Able to sleep the way you did when you were a little baby,
So peaceful,
Calm,
And so relaxed.
You'll sleep so well.
You'll be able to sleep soundly.
Feeling in the back of your mind that day by day,
You're beginning to live more like your true self,
Fully and deeply.
And as time goes on,
You'll live with more and more wisdom,
And you'll let yourself sleep the way a baby does.
When a baby feels good and very secure,
You'll sleep very well and very calm.
And when you wake up in the morning,
You'll be fully rested,
Very refreshed,
And at peace,
Knowing that new beliefs are taking root.
That's right,
You're now gradually drifting off to sleep,
And you can take all the time you need,
And ensure all the work is completely and fully taken care of.
You can only drift awake if you need to,
But you do have permission to go into a comfortable,
Deep sleep at the rate and in the way that all of the new beliefs get updated,
And your mind updates,
And it makes all the changes it needs as you drift off into this relaxing sleep.
And when you drift into a dream,
Everything is taken care of.
You can trust that all the new patterns will begin changing in the way that makes sense for you,
And serves your greatest purpose,
And in that trust,
You can drift off,
And awaken at the appropriate time,
Feeling refreshed and revitalized.
