Hey everyone!
Today I wanted to talk about the topic moving out of isolation and into living.
So the reason that I would like to speak about this today is because I feel like for a long time it's been easy for me to isolate myself.
That's been a common pattern that I've had is to isolate myself.
I think there's a lot of different reasons behind this.
And I know that one of the reasons is whenever I would go out and have negative experiences.
Out in the world.
It's easier for me to stay at home because I know if I stay at home nothing's going to happen and I'd rather not feel hurt or sad.
And I think that's part of the reason why I would stay isolated most of the time,
Because I know that nothing would happen.
I knew that it's a controlled environment being at my house.
And that's always felt safe and comfortable for me.
And recently I've been moving more out of my isolation.
Patterns that I've held on to for so long.
And Whenever I put myself out there or go out or have experiences that seem to be like they're negative experiences where.
I get triggered,
Or I get my feelings hurt,
Or I get upset about something.
I'm actually starting to shift my perspective and realize that Every experience means something and every experience matters.
So the thoughts that I've been having about this is that.
Every experience is actually a win-win situation.
Because even if I put myself out there and go have an experience And it doesn't necessarily go the way that I think it was going to go,
Or I had expectations where I thought something was going to go really great and it didn't quite work out the way that I wanted.
I get to learn something.
I get to learn something from that.
So no matter what experiences I have in my life,
Whether it's positive,
In between,
Or negative.
I get to learn something from every experience.
And I think I may have had this expectation about life that.
All my experiences should be good.
And that's not really the way that life works.
I think the sooner we can start to realize and accept that Our experiences are going to be a little bit of everything.
And are we willing to.
.
.
Accept a life where our experiences are going to be a little bit of everything.
And I understand that when we have the negative experiences and these emotions get brought up that are really difficult to confront or difficult,
Difficult to deal with.
I understand that that can be really hard.
I understand that that can have.
Such a great impact where it feels Um.
.
.
Like,
I really don't want to feel that again,
So I'm gonna make sure that never happens again.
And.
That's held me back a lot in my life to where I wouldn't put myself out there or try to have another experience that was a similar situation because of how impactful and how let down I was or whatever it is,
Because I know that when we do experience negative experience,
I know that it can maybe last for days or for weeks of us feeling upset over that one thing that happened.
At least I've experienced that before.
And I'm starting to understand more that there's something that I can learn in that negative experience and there's something that it can teach me.
So I've been thinking more about ideas of How can I shift the direction towards what can I do to love myself and take care of myself?
And wow.
That really sucked that that happened,
But now I have this information of.
.
.
Maybe I'm not going to do that again with that.
Same person or situation,
Or maybe I'm going to go this route instead.
There's information that we can gather from those negative experiences that are actually going to be very valuable,
That are going to help us for the rest of our lives.
And I know that when we have hurt feelings,
It's really hard to see anything else,
Understand,
Or even care that there's wisdom or information that we can have that's really going to help us.
And I know that that can be hard to see or care about in that moment.
But I just wanted to share this today because this is just something that I'm understanding now that I'm moving out of my isolation a little bit more and having a variety of experiences.
And not all of them are going the way that I would expect them to go,
But they're just as valuable as my positive experiences are.
Because.
.
.
When I have any of these negative experiences.
It gives me information that I need to know.
It's going to help me down the line to make better decisions.
And When I have a negative experience where it triggers something inside of me that shows me what still needs to be healed,
It shows me something deeper that I need to address that is actually really important for me to address and understand that There are things that I still need to tend to and I understand that it doesn't really have anything to do with anybody else that's around me or anything to do with what's happening in my present moment.
It's more something that I need to resolve from the past.
So I'm understanding at this point in my life that every experience is valuable and it feels like every experience is a win-win situation because it's always going to show me something.
That I need to know,
Whether it's positive or negative.
I feel extremely grateful for all of my experiences because I feel grateful that I get to experience joy in my positive experiences.
And I also am grateful that I get to gain strength,
Information,
And wisdom in my negative experiences,
Because that's extremely valuable as well.
I just feel very grateful for all of my experiences and I believe that every experience means something and is important on our path.
So instead of me,
Running from these hurt feelings or negative experiences and isolating myself.
I'm starting to shift my focus shift my perspective and my direction to.
What can I do about it?
What is this teaching me?
What can I do to love myself in this moment?
What can I just do to take care of myself or do something that I love and get back into my own life?
Because I know whatever that was put me in this negative headspace and I'm like,
Wow,
I can't believe that happened.
But what can I do in this moment of what I love,
What I enjoy,
To really put myself back into my own life and center myself and ground myself into who I am and what I love and what I care about,
What matters to me.
So I've been learning more about shifting my direction towards getting back into my life.
Instead of going down this road of isolation and sadness and staying alone because I know that nothing will happen if I'm alone.
So anyway,
I just wanted to share this today,
If anybody has experienced their own patterns of isolation.
I just want to share this to help other people if this relates.
That we deserve to give ourselves the love and grace no matter what is happening in our lives and know that the divine love is there for us and that we're always held in love.
And no matter what we're going through,
We deserve to love and care for ourselves no matter what and take as much time as we need and be very gentle with ourselves.
And I think it's super important to take the time to really care for ourselves when we're experiencing pain.
And really take all the time that we need and love and care for ourselves in that space,
More importantly than really doing anything else.
So that's just something that I wanted to share today and send love,
Peace,
Hope,
And encouragement to everyone that we're all doing the best that we can on our journey.
We all deserve love and support and peace in our lives.
I hope this could help somebody today and thank you all so much for listening.
