Welcome.
Find yourself a comfortable position,
Either sitting,
Laying or perhaps standing up,
Whatever works best for you.
Close your eyes and take a few long deep breaths.
While you are breathing and settling in,
I want you to see,
Sense or feel a beautiful white light shining down on you,
One that surrounds your entire being.
This light from the universe is pure love.
You are safe and protected.
Now imagine you are standing inside a giant snow globe.
You can see the glass sphere all around you.
Looking down,
You see yourself standing on a ground covered in thick snow.
Suddenly the snow is swirling everywhere,
As if the snow globe was shaken vigorously.
The flurry of snow is so thick you can no longer see the glass through the vast wide flecks.
All you can do is watch as they move around you,
Swirling and tumbling,
Not slowing down at all.
This snow storm is just like your mind when life is in chaos.
Each snowflake represents a thought that is running through your head and it is time to take back your power.
You can harness the power of your breath to calm that storm.
Breathe deeply,
Feeling the sensation of the breath as it enters and exits your nose.
Feel your chest expand and collapse.
With each calm cycle of breath in and out,
The snowflakes begin to drop.
Feel each breath going in and out and watch as the snow starts to flutter back to the ground.
As the snow begins to fall,
You feel a deep sense of calm washing over you.
Take a few moments to continue breathing until all the snowflakes have fallen back to the ground.
Now that the snow has settled,
You find yourself left with a radiating sense of deep peace and stillness.
Continue to breathe in this peace,
In and out,
Calming any stray snowflakes,
In and out,
Creating space in your mind to gain clarity.
In and out,
Grateful for the time that you have taken to serve your higher self today.
In and out,
Until you feel centered and ready to come back to your now.
As you start to awaken,
Perhaps wriggling your fingers and toes,
May you take this calm into your day,
Knowing that any time your thoughts create that snowstorm in your mind,
You have the power to calm that snow globe by simply returning to your breath.
Namaste.
