Good morning.
Let's welcome the day together.
My name is Ashley and I'm going to guide you through an awakening of your mind,
Your body,
And your soul.
If you are already laying down in bed,
That's where I'd like you to meet me.
Laying down,
Releasing all tension from your body,
Finding a place of stillness like you've just woken up.
I'll send you some good wishes so you can get started with your day.
Allow any distractions in the room to come to your mind.
Maybe it's the humming of the air-conditioning,
Street traffic outside.
Just acknowledge all of the sounds and noises surrounding you in this moment.
We're going to close our eyes and allow our eyelids to feel heavy and turn all of our attention to our breath.
When we inhale,
We fill ourselves up with life force,
Like you're filling up a balloon to its biggest capacity.
And with your exhale,
You are releasing everything,
Allowing your belly button to meet your spine.
This is the breathing we're going to take through today's practice.
Filling yourself up on an inhale and releasing everything on an exhale.
You can repeat in your mind's eye,
I am aware of my inhale on your inhale,
And I am aware of my exhale on your exhale.
Breathing is essential to our survival,
Essential to our life force and our soul.
It's the one thing our body can do unconsciously,
But we get the gift of doing it consciously.
That's where we're going to be today.
Choosing conscious breaths to start off our day.
Allow any tension in your face to melt away like candle wax dripping away from a flame.
Releasing any tension between your eyebrows,
Around your eyes,
In your cheeks,
Into your jaw.
Gently removing the tongue from the roof of your mouth.
You can find a bit of distance between your teeth,
Allowing the breath to come in and out through your nose,
Allowing your face to feel like it's melting towards the surface beneath you.
Each day we wake up,
We get to live a life full of many miracles.
Each day we wake up,
We get to live a life that others in our lives don't get to.
Each day we wake up,
We get the opportunity to try again,
To be better versions of ourselves,
To be kinder to ourselves.
So whatever you need for today,
I want you to grasp onto a mantra.
Today I will be kinder to myself.
Today I will allow things to flow.
Whatever comes to your mind first,
That's what we'll take with us for the day.
A little blessing for the next 24 hours as you get to live in existence with millions of other souls,
Living out their soul's purpose.
Feel the rise of your belly on your inhales and on your exhales.
Release any judgments.
Release any bad thoughts.
Allow your focus to just be on your breath.
If thoughts come up,
Allow them to pass like a cloud in the sky,
Thanking them for the reminder,
Knowing your mind will bring it up again after you are done with this time that you are spending on yourself,
This investment in your life.
We're going to take a few cleansing breaths together.
I will guide you.
We will inhale through our nose and we will exhale through our mouth,
Making noise and allowing our throat to vibrate.
We are vibration and we live in a world of vibrations,
So allowing your throat chakra to vibrate actually releases tension in your body and tension in your soul.
Let's do a few of these together.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Let's do one more.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Allow your breath to find its natural flow,
Still allowing yourself to expand on your inhale and for your belly button to meet the floor beneath you on your exhale and maybe allowing yourself to fill yourself up a little bit more at the top and holding for a second or two before you release.
That place is the place of growth,
The place of expansion,
The place of flow and you've met yourself there today.
We're going to start awakening to the room and to your day.
I want you to find a bit of movement with your fingers and with your toes,
Rolling out your wrists and your ankles,
Bringing your right ear down to your pillow and slowly bringing your left ear down to your pillow.
Maybe doing a few rotations of that movement in your neck,
Waking up all of your muscles in your body.
And on an inhale,
I want you to reach your arms above your head and stretch out to the biggest you can make yourself like it's your first stretch of the morning,
Taking up the space you deserve to take up.
And on an exhale,
I want you to release,
Coming back to the stillness and placing your hands over your heart.
Thank yourself for showing up today,
For starting your morning with a check-in on how you feel and for giving yourself a mantra to take through the day.
So at any point you start to feel out of flow,
Remind yourself of your mantra,
Of what you pick to take with you for the day.
Thank you for showing up for me,
For yourself,
For the higher consciousness of the planet.
