Welcome to Jamaica.
I'm sitting out by the ocean.
So you may hear the sounds of the waves,
The birds.
Finding a comfortable seat.
Allow the spine to be tall.
And you're simply going to become aware of your breath in this moment.
Relaxing the face,
The jaw.
As you breathe in,
Become aware you're breathing in.
And as you breathe out,
Simply become aware that you're breathing out.
Breathing in,
Become aware of the breath as it enters the body.
Breathing out,
Become aware of the breath as it leaves the body.
It's a simple practice to follow the breath.
Simple,
But not easy.
Each time you notice Your attention is off the breath.
Bring it back.
Without judgment.
We're not thinking about the breath.
Or simply feeling the breath as it enters through the nose.
Following it as it leaves the body.
To be a new father.
Breathing out,
Follow.
And just continue.
Falling into a trance Using the breath as the anchor for your mind.
Maybe matching your breath to the wave.
Bringing awareness to the body.
Checking in,
Noticing how the body feels today.
