Angels In The Sand (A Short Poem)

A poem written whilst on holiday near Chichester on the south coast of the UK.
I came across a beautiful shell that was shaped like angel wings. My pen was freehand in the creation of this short poem. Enjoy!

Angels in the sand. It was a crisp winter's day. Time to relax, The angels would say. And life indeed would rest, Thinking of a year of memories at its best. A sign from above. Walking on a beach cove. The seashells of earth. A new year may birth. Water would flow whilst the sun would glow. Angel love from above. A heart opening. A moment of peace. A drift of a day. Up in the sky. The angels release.
