Let's begin laying on your back,
Checking in with your breath.
You may place one hand on your belly and the other on your chest and just feel the rising and falling of your body paired with your breath.
Become soft,
Become heavy.
Just noticing the quality of your inhales and your exhales.
If it would help you arrive,
Go ahead and sigh out your breaths,
Making sure that there aren't any blockages along the line of your chakras.
Feel free to sigh,
To moan,
To hum,
Just to get your throat chakra nice and ready and soft.
Noticing if you are holding tension in your head,
Relaxing the muscles in your temple,
Muscles behind your eyes,
Letting your eyelids fall heavy,
Releasing any tension in your jaw,
Softening your tongue,
Allow it to fall away from the roof of your mouth,
Softening your soft palate,
The roof of your mouth,
Feeling into your sinuses,
Just allowing them to melt and to dilate open,
Your throat,
Your esophagus following suit,
Melting,
Opening,
Dilating,
Just moving along down your midline,
Allowing your ribs,
Your lungs to become soft,
Supple,
Receptive to every breath,
Moving along down through your diaphragm,
Allowing your exhales to melt away any tension,
Softening your belly,
Softening your abdomen,
Softening all the way through your pelvis,
Your knees are bent,
Allow your knees to fall towards each other,
Just continue to soften all the way down through your feet,
Allow yourself to sink deeper into the cushions,
To the surface beneath you,
Surrendering to earth's gravity,
And as you relax even more deeply,
Allow your senses to pull inward,
Picking up,
Picking up on any movement,
Any external stimulus,
Just gently allowing them to pull back and gather in,
Your sense of hearing beginning to pick up on the soft H sound of your breathing,
Your breath imitating the sound of the ocean,
Just be with that sound,
A few breaths,
Your sense of touch,
Your sense of movement,
Allow it to migrate from the surface of your skin,
From the external,
Allow your sense of touch,
Sense of movement to go within,
To pick up on sensations inside of you,
Feeling into the expansion of your chest and abdomen,
Every inhale,
And feel it all collapse back in,
Every exhale,
Sensing into your lungs expanding and contracting,
Feeling your belly soften and expand on the inhale,
And fall back down on the exhale,
And in your belly,
In your abdomen,
Begin to envision a ball of energy,
Inhale,
Gathering all of the energy from your extremities,
And on the exhale,
Gathering them all in your lower abdomen,
Envisioning a ball of light,
Ball of light that is still quite dim,
But with every breath cycle,
Becoming brighter,
Becoming more concentrated,
Start to imagine that ball of light rotating with each breath cycle,
Each breath cycle,
Gathering in your lower abdomen,
Rotating,
Gently spinning on its axis,
This ball of light,
This energy is your chi,
Your prana,
Your life force,
Hold it in your mind's eye,
Hold it within your awareness,
In your lower abdomen,
Imagine gently nestling it into your pelvic bowl,
And feel free to just rock gently,
Ever so slightly,
Teeny tiny micro movements in your pelvis,
Inhaling,
Rocking,
Tipping forward just slightly,
Imagining that ball of energy rolling,
Settling into the pelvic bowl,
And on the exhale,
Squeezing your root chakra just slightly,
Locking in that ball of energy right at your root chakra,
Your inhales and your exhales,
Melding into each other,
Becoming one smooth cycle,
Gently pulling that ball of energy along with it,
As you take an inhale,
Gently pulling that ball of energy up towards your second chakra,
And exhale,
Pulling it back down towards the first,
Inhale,
Rolling it up to the second,
And exhale,
Rolling it back down to the first,
Keeping this pattern in your mind's eye,
In your awareness,
In your felt senses within,
On your next exhale,
Bringing it back down to your root,
And on the subsequent inhale,
Bringing up,
Bringing it up to your third chakra,
And exhale,
From the third,
Back down to the first,
Inhaling up to the third,
And exhaling it back down to the first,
Keeping it moving,
Keeping that ball of light,
That sphere motion in rotation,
Inhaling up to the third,
And exhaling down to the second,
Inhaling from second to third,
Keeping it moving,
Keeping it circulating,
Now from the second to the third,
And back down to the second chakra,
Inhaling up to the third,
Exhaling down to the second,
And on this next inhale,
Inhale it up,
The fourth chakra,
Towards your heart,
And back down to your second,
In towards the fourth,
And out towards the second,
Continuing the cycle,
Long inhales,
And slow exhales,
Inhaling up to the fourth,
And exhaling down to the third chakra,
Keeping that movement,
That circulation,
Constant,
Smooth,
Unbroken,
Inhaling up to the fourth,
Up to the fourth,
And exhaling down to the third,
And as you are ready,
On the next inhale,
Spiral that energy up towards the fifth chakra,
And exhale back down to the third,
Inhale to the throat,
The fifth chakra,
And back down to the third,
Activate your throat chakra,
By humming,
Sighing,
Moaning,
Clear your path,
To remove any obstacles,
Inhale up to the throat,
And exhale down to the third,
Inhaling up to the throat,
And on this next exhale,
Breathe into the heart chakra,
Inhale up to the throat,
And exhale down to the heart,
Heart to throat,
And throat back down to the heart,
Allow yourself to make any noise,
Any vocalizations,
Keeping your esophagus,
Your throat,
Your tongue,
Soft and heavy,
Really open up,
Continuing to be with your throat,
Your throat,
To be with that sphere of energy and light,
Allow your exhales to be long and slow,
On the next inhale,
Bring that ball of energy up towards your third eye,
Your sixth chakra,
Back down to the heart,
Still encircling your throat chakra,
Orbiting around it in a big circle,
Allowing each exhale to melt away any tension,
Keeping that ball of light bright,
Keeping it illuminated,
Keeping it strong and brilliant,
Exhaling back down the heart,
Inhaling to the third eye,
And exhaling down to the throat,
Continue to focalize as you see fit,
Humming,
Sighing,
Whatever way to keep that energy strong,
Circulating from the throat to the third eye,
Back down to the throat,
Allowing that energy to move freely,
To move on its own,
Exhaling down to the throat,
Tuning into that soft palate,
Nice and supple,
The next inhale,
Orbit up towards the crown,
And exhale down to the throat,
Still open,
Still receptive,
Focused on the ball of light with a curious attention,
As it orbits up towards your crown and back down towards your throat,
Inhaling up towards the crown,
And exhaling down to the third eye,
Tightening that orbit,
You are now in the upper parts of the channel,
Inhaling third eye to crown,
And exhale crown to third eye,
Allowing that ball of energy to reach the top of your head,
And in your own time,
You may keep that ball of energy in your head,
Your crown chakra,
You may begin to spiral it down,
Spiraling down,
Bringing it down to your third eye,
Every exhale,
Gently spiraling down to your throat,
Inhale up to your third eye,
And exhaling down to your heart,
Inhaling up towards your throat,
And exhaling down to your third chakra,
Inhaling up to your heart,
And exhaling down to your second chakra,
Inhaling up to the third,
And exhaling down to the root,
Inhaling up to the second,
And exhaling down to the root,
And allow that ball of energy to just spin,
Just nestle into your pelvic bowl,
Continue to envision this ball of light right there in the center of your body,
Storing it,
Foaming into it,
Carrying it with you throughout the rest of your day,
Resetting,
Renewing,
Refreshing,
And begin to turn your senses outward,
Reorient the space around you,
Reawaken your extremities by wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Giving yourself a nice stretch,
And gently reawaken,
Opening your eyes,
Placing your palms over your heart space,
Saying something kind to yourself,
Appreciating,
Being proud of the work you are putting into living your best experience.
