Hello,

My name is April and I will be your guide for 10 breaths.

I invite you to settle comfortably onto your seat and close your eyes.

Let's take these initial moments to arrive and acknowledge your current state.

Allow yourself to let go of any thoughts or to-do's that may be going on in your mind.

Connect to your body,

Connect to your breath.

I invite you to take this moment for only yourself,

To wipe the slate clean.

Allow me to guide you as we breathe together as a community.

With an open mouth,

Take a big exhale,

Empty out.

Inhale through your nose,

Fill up and hold at the top.

Then exhale with an audible sigh,

Let it go.

Inhale again through your nose,

Fill your lungs.

Then again exhale to sigh it all out.

Inhale fill up with confidence,

Motivation.

Exhale release hesitation,

Resistance.

Inhale invite inspiration,

Creativity,

Opportunity.

Exhale let go of doubt,

Let go of tension.

Inhale deeply through the nose,

Then seal your lips.

Slowly begin to exhale back out the nose.

Inhale deeply through the nose and exhale back out the nose.

Inhale invite stillness,

Invite calm.

Exhale make space for tranquility,

Make room for peace.

Inhale allow grace.

Exhale invite presence.

Inhale experience expansion.

Exhale feel spaciousness.

Inhale grow a little taller and exhale root down deeper within.

Return to your natural way of breathing for the next few moments.

Allow your breath to guide you back to your center,

Back to the present moment.

May you find the practice of connecting to your breath as a means to recenter when confronted with challenges throughout your day.

May it become a solid foundation upon which you are able to stand back,

Observe your emotions,

Observe your reactions and find that place within yourself from which you can make decisions with wisdom,

Grace and clarity.

Slowly open your eyes.
