Good now,
Nicole here with Antero Mastery.
Welcome.
If you are confused about what style of meditation is best for you,
Then I'm glad you're here.
First and foremost,
Every form of meditation is really designed to help you explore the inner subjectivity of who you are.
Neuroscience has shown.
That there are three major categories of meditation.
You can that was able to be distinguished through the different EEG or brainwave patterns that each of them produce and they all have different mechanisms of action and they all have different skills and whatnot that they offer.
So as you can see,
I keep thinking I put the words over there.
As you can see,
The three main categories are focused attention,
Open monitoring,
And automatic self-transcending.
So let's go over to three real quick.
The first is focused attention.
Focus attention basically in this category you've probably heard just stay on your breath follow your breath but it can be focused on one particular thing your breath a bodily sensation a particular sound a candle and it's it's really just bringing all your attention to that,
Hence focused attention.
As you can see,
There's just a few of the type of meditations that fall under this category based on the brainwave pattern it produces.
There are so many teachers on here that offer both free and premium meditations,
Whether it be live or recorded,
Please search out.
If once we get to the benefits of this one,
Search out the these terms,
These key terms,
And I'm sure you'll find someone who is just perfect for you.
There's so many of us here.
That's for focus attention.
Let me get the next one,
Which is.
.
.
Open monitoring.
These are a few of the meditations that fall under open monitoring and basically open monitoring is just observing subjectively,
I mean objectively.
Without engaging,
You're observing sound,
You're observing your thoughts,
You're observing bodily sensations,
And you're just.
.
.
Witnessing.
You're not.
Trying to figure anything out.
You're not trying to understand.
You just,
Oh,
Okay,
That's happening.
It's just like watching something just float by.
So that is open monitoring.
And then the last one is automatic self-transcending,
Which is the main the main.
One is transcendental meditation.
You can get to the state,
Like there was a study,
A gentleman.
Who had done Qigong for 45 years,
And then he finally reached this state.
With Transcendental Meditation,
You can actually reach that state within your first session.
But basically,
It's when someone transcends or goes beyond thought and perception.
So you get to the stillness that is actually you,
The stillness that is within you,
The deepest part of you,
That is where you connect when you transcend.
With that,
Well,
For one.
This form of meditation is designed to be effortless.
Each meditation has different forms of effort,
Like focused attention will have the most.
You can look at the brainwave pattern.
Open monitoring has a little less and then transcendental meditation is just like nothing because there's no mental context in that state of being.
Um.
.
.
The benefits of the three.
So the first two basically they help with Outside of meditation,
They help with more mental,
Emotional,
And cognitive.
Clarity and and skills,
Basically skills around those areas so that you're more responsive and not reactive or you can think more clearly and stay more focused on tasks.
So that is a skill.
So you're in a particular situation,
You know how to shift your brain to whatever it is that you need at that moment.
So if you need to focus,
You have a better opportunity or chance of actually focusing because you've been practicing focused.
Same with open monitoring,
You've been practicing not to.
Chasing the squirrels like I tend to do a lot on my lives if you've ever joined me.
And then with transcendental meditation,
Rather than learning a tool,
You become the tool.
In a situation,
For instance,
You need to focus.
You learn to shift your brain.
With Transcendental Meditation because you're actually changing your state of being and the nature of your mind.
You don't have to shift into something you already are.
You're already being in that state.
So it brings on sharper,
Clearer,
More attentive mind.
In all situations.
Because that's already what it is,
Right?
It also increases creativity.
Um more effective at solving problems,
Planning,
And making decisions.
You go naturally.
Without even,
Like it's,
I can't explain it.
I've just,
It's just personal experiences.
I used to question,
Like,
Should I,
Should I?
And there's not a lot of that back and forth anymore.
Yeah,
That I can recall.
So like I said,
Rather than learning skills,
You become the skill.
With Transcendental Meditation,
With any form,
With anything that you want to seriously practice that has the ability to affect your life.
In your way of being.
I want to encourage you to get trained by someone who was actually trained to do that form of meditation.
I am not a TM teacher.
Yet.
Maybe I will be one day,
But right now I just.
.
.
Send people.
There's TM centers all over the world,
Literally.
If you need,
I know a few teachers,
One in New York,
Pennsylvania,
And England,
So reach out if you need to find a teacher.
I practice the meditation live here in the mornings,
But that's for anyone who wants to practice meditation and be consistent in their practice.
But TM is trained specifically in person,
One-on-one for your first session.
So if anyone.
Offers to train remotely,
It's not TM.
And the reason I am adamant about that is because TM has been scientifically studied for over 50 years.
And the only way you can scientifically study something if there is a constant somewhere TM is taught to each and every individual the very same way every single time by a person who is trained to teach it.
So if you're going to learn to.
Please go to a TM center.
Learn it properly so that you get all of the benefits from it.
I would hate for you to get a bootleg one,
And not go.
Experience it the way you could and then you think there's something wrong with TM,
Whereas just you were not trained properly.
So I am passionate about that because I've been studying that in my master's program and I know from experience and also the scientific studies that are behind it.
I did do a TM talk here,
But if you want to know more,
Feel free to reach out.
I'll share.
Anything that I can.
My DMs are open,
So if there's any questions around any of this,
Feel free to reach out.
I am happy to point you in direction.
My community always shares tracks from different teachers,
So even if I don't know anyone,
I'm sure someone in my group that I have here on IT knows of a teacher that has a form.
Actually,
They have shared some meditations in there.
Feel free to check that group out,
World Peace Through Inner Peace and Tarot Mastering.
Is the group.
Thank you for exploring.
I hope this has given you some information that will help you make a more informed decision as to what type or types of meditation you would like to practice.
Um.
.
.
And yeah,
That's all I got.
To your inner mastering which creates inner peace,
Success,
And world peace.
Thank you again for being here.
May you create the most amazing now moments.
Until I see you next time.
See you around the app.
Ciao for now.
