Welcome to this praying rain meditation.
Settle yourself comfortably.
Take a big breath in and all the way out.
Big breath in again and all the way out.
Big breath in again and all the way out.
Picture yourself in the most beautiful place in nature.
Notice your surroundings.
Feel the sun on your skin and the breeze ruffling your hair.
Listen to the birds and to all the other sounds that nature is offering you right now.
And notice how there's a different smell in the air and how the wind has changed a little bit.
And you can hear the rain approaching from the distance.
Feel the beautiful raindrops kissing your skin.
And the sound of rain and the sound of birds and the sound of birds and the sound of birds and the sound of birds and the sound of birds and the sound of birds and the sound of birds feel the cool wetness on your face.
Feel the firefight with your toes.
Breathe in the air it's humid.
And notice how the dust is being washed out of the air and this scent is changing to this fresh green scent.
Feel how the trees and the grasses and all the plants are reaching towards the heavens to soak up this beautiful rain.
And feel how all the animals are rejoicing in this blessing,
Drinking the rain,
Feeling it on their fur or their skin or their feathers.
And feel the earth,
The ground itself,
Hum with pleasure at being caressed by the raindrops.
Notice how their little rivulets forming on the rocks and on the ground.
Notice the puddles emerging.
Notice the creeks starting to run.
Notice a tree drinking in the water with their roots.
And if you feel like it,
Dance to celebration of the rain.
And if you feel like it,
Dance to celebration of the rain.
And if you feel like it,
Dance to celebration of the rain.
And if you feel like it,
Dance to celebration of the rain.
Feel the deep gratitude in your heart and in your being for the rain,
For the cleansing,
For the replenishing,
For the nourishing.
And feel how all of nature mirrors your gratitude and your reverence and your appreciation.
And when you're ready,
Take a big breath in and all the way out.
