Meet The Seer Archetype

The Seer Archetype is the guardian of the third eye chakra. She can see past appearances and discern the truth behind them. She can percieve hidden things, such as intentions, motivations, commonalities, patterns and principles, and she can also connect seemingly unrelated things or concepts to come up with new ideas or things or ways of being in the world. She can gauge consequences accurately. In this meditation, we will meet our Seer archetype and ask her for any insights she might have for us. If you are embarking on a new venture, this might be particularly helpful. Having said that, even if you are not you are still likely to get some interesting guidance.
By becoming familiar with this archetype we can draw on her wisdom and insight in our daily lives.

A brief, simple two-part exercise. In theory, anyone can work with this one, but you really need at least a basic understanding of the chakras (what and where they are) to appreciate the first part. You can get that from any number of recordings on IT.

Part two has a different feel. I appreciate the openness of the visualization; you can let this process take you to many different “seers” over the course of repeated listens. (Pro tip: I got the idea to draw a tarot card [with a single figure on it] to help me “see the seer,” and it worked beautifully.)
