This guided meditation brings about an awareness of how precious and beautiful this life is. It reminds us to live in gratitude for the little moments that bring about joy and contentment. Life is a gift and the practice of meditation connects us to this thought. This session uses the breath to quiet our thoughts.
Thank you for joining me in this meditation session just giving yourself a moment to ground your body into the earth or into your chair and just finding stillness in your body and then slowly becoming aware of your breath in your nostrils and out your nostrils and just letting that be your main focus for this session letting your breath guide you letting your breath ground you and knowing that it is this breath that gives us life and allows us to experience this life on planet earth and just being gentle as you fill your body and empty your body of breath noticing the feeling as it comes in and gently leaves and this session I will briefly plant the seed of just gratitude for life and this idea of falling in love with being alive and each day I am reminded of how beautiful and precious and fragile this life is and that there are many moments in our days that we can find stillness and a deep love for simply being alive the sunrise the sunset seeing an elderly couple holding hands watching children laugh and play it is these small moments that fill our lives with joy and contentment and it is this practice of meditation that helps us to see them more often and to allow them to fill our bodies with love and joy and a deep connection to this life so just coming back to your breath knowing that it is a miracle to be alive and that we are blessed to have this body and to walk this earth you you you you you you you breathing in together and out together and just continuing to breathe like that and becoming more and more connected to the breath this life force that keeps our body running each day and to this practice of meditation to this stillness that we give ourselves to help us notice the beauty in each day and the moments that fill us with joy and bring us closer and closer to falling in love with life being held by the earth and by the stillness that is inside us knowing that this life on earth does not last forever and so becoming conscious and aware of how blessed we are to be alive and living in gratitude simply just because we're alive learning and growing and becoming each day feeling in together and out together knowing that you have the ability to become more and more connected to life through this practice of meditation and knowing that you are bringing about more peace and love to this world by sitting with yourself and sending yourself love and acceptance and together we bring our hands to our hearts breathing in and breathing out and we bow namaste
