Hello lovely people,
Thank you so much for listening.
I feel deeply honored to share my words with you,
Whoever you are,
Wherever you are.
So finding a place to sit or lay,
Building your body to support your mind through this process of meditation and stillness.
Remembering to be gentle to your body,
Knowing that you don't need to be perfectly still or perfectly seated because you are here giving yourself time.
Taking a breath in together and out and just becoming aware of your body being held by the ground or earth beneath you,
Knowing that it will hold you for as long as you choose to be here.
Bringing your awareness to your feet,
To the soles of your feet that you walk on each day,
To your legs,
To your hips,
Up your spine,
Letting your shoulders soften down your back,
Letting your arms be heavy and your hands light.
Becoming aware of your neck that holds your head and your head that holds your face,
Softening your eyes in their sockets,
Softening your jaw and down the front of your chest,
Softening your tummy.
Just feeling your chest rise and fall and the idea that I'm going to plant in your mind this session is living in awe,
In awe of our bodies,
The earth,
The 7.
8 billion humans that exist on this planet with us.
And while I speak all you need to do is breathe in and out,
Bringing your attention back to your breath each time your mind wanders,
Being gentle each time your mind wanders because minds are meant to wander,
Thoughts are meant to come but in this stillness we aim to soften and quieten them so we can become closer to ourselves and the gift of life.
So just breathing.
Knowing that this breath keeps us alive without us even doing anything throughout our days,
Activities,
Our body breathes and we don't even need to think.
We have the opportunity to live in awe of this process.
Oxygen in to keep us alive,
Magic without us even having to think about it.
Bringing your attention to your lungs that expand and contract into your heart pumping blood around your body in every moment of your day.
Becoming aware of your skeleton that holds us up and your muscles that move the skeleton and the computer program that brings everything together in our bodies.
How totally amazing our human body is.
Allowing us to walk the earth each day to experience all that life has in this body.
And we can choose to live in awe of nature,
To watch the Sun rise every day not asking for anything in return.
Giving us life and light and warmth.
We can choose to live in awe of the ocean that surrounds us.
Full of unbelievable creatures that exist without us even knowing.
And when we choose to live in this way thinking about the beauty in this world we become more peaceful and content and joyous because life is a gift.
And we can choose to sit on the grass and feel it beneath us.
We can choose to see the colours in the clouds,
To see the weather as it changes.
We can choose to look out the window each day and take a moment to be in total awe of this life.
When we walk down the street looking at people in awe of the fact that each of us may be different on the outside but we are all so deeply connected.
And then we smile because we know that we are far more similar than we are different.
And we are amazed that we all get to be on this earth living this human existence in this human body.
And we can choose to watch the sunset,
To walk in the rain,
To watch as the world goes by.
We can choose to see homes and buildings as the evolution of the human brain.
We can choose to think positively about situations in awe of the fact that we create and evolve.
And just continuing to breathe.
Breathing in and out.
Bringing your awareness again to your heart.
Your lungs.
Your vital organs.
And thinking about the fact that once upon a time you and I were just tiny cells and we have grown into the body that we are right now.
And how beautiful this process is.
And how at some moment we became a soul with a heart capable of loving and experiencing this beautiful life.
And choosing to live in awe in moments throughout our day.
Choosing to see the beauty in the world.
Choosing to see the magic that surrounds us each and every day.
And choosing to be totally grateful and amazed that we get to walk this planet earth and feel all that there is to feel.
Breathing in and out.
Bringing your hands to your heart.
Knowing that you are alive and you are beautiful and you are a miracle.
Worthy of a beautiful existence.
