Hello beautiful people,
Just giving yourself a moment to find comfort seated with crossed legs or on a chair or laying down and finding stillness in your body so we can more easily find stillness in our mind and just coming to your breath in and out and just noticing without judgment the inhale and the exhale your breath which gives you life and helps us to connect our mind and body to become more present in each moment in and out and this time breathing in hold exhale hold inhale hold exhale hold continue like that for a few moments with your own breath.
In this session we will cultivate thoughts and feelings of forgiveness and as I talk just letting the words seep into your being and keeping a focus on your breath each time a thought comes being gentle and just coming back to your breath in and out in and out and continuing this way throughout this practice and forgiving yourself when thoughts arise and just gently coming back to the breath.
It is said that forgiveness is our path to peace and love to forgive is to accept the thoughts words and actions of others of him her them and then finally ourselves.
We must be gentle to ourselves in times of healing and change for we are the only one that is always here.
We have choices in our lives whether they be big or small but every day we are given the opportunity to choose how we think feel and act and right now we are choosing to heal choosing to move forward choosing to listen choosing to learn choosing to become exactly who we are.
Today we are given the opportunity to choose forgiveness to forgive the words thoughts and actions of others and ourselves.
May we understand that each and every one of us speaks and acts in the way we do as a result of our past experiences.
May we understand that every human on this earth is struggling with some belief about themselves or about the world and from this place of understanding we learn to forgive to soften and to love to love ourselves and others not because of our words or actions but because we are all so alike so connected.
We all want to be loved to feel love to be forgiven for our wrongdoings and so we must we must forgive ourselves in order to move freely through this life.
We must forgive others to move freely through this life.
We must find the space in our hearts to love ourselves enough to forgive for sometimes we make choices that hurt others and sometimes we make choices that hurt us but we must find the space in our hearts to understand to accept to forgive and to move forward freely and peacefully and the way we find this space is to sit to sit in silence in peace and from this place we create space space for thoughts words and actions that serve us space for love and forgiveness.
I'm just sitting with those words and your breath inhaling and exhaling with nowhere else to be but here.
So just breathing in and out.
Giving yourself space to love and forgive.
So so so so so so so inhaling and exhaling continuing with your breath as I speak.
We are beyond lucky to be given this time to work on ourselves and to heal our wounds.
We are eternally grateful for this experience of life that teaches us to love and to forgive.
Some say that time heals all while others say that intention heals all.
So be intent be intent on your thoughts your words and your actions.
Think speak and act in a way that serves you and the people in your life.
Think speak and act from a place of love understanding and forgiveness.
Be gentle with yourself and know that you are here doing the work.
It's not easy now it's not easy soon but with intent and a dedicated practice it can slowly become your favorite place to be completely still completely at peace completely forgiven.
Breathing in and out.
Bring your hands to your heart giving yourself the permission to forgive because we are human and we are here and we are learning and growing and we all deserve to be forgiven.
