Shine a Light visualisation will help you identify the areas that you need to change. Sometimes, these are invisible to our conscious mind. This practice will help you access your subconscious and to identify those areas you need to change. There is no judgment you are just observing with compassion and kindness. Shine a light on your problems and see how this meditation will transform it through awareness.
Music Visualisation 2 Shine a light Find somewhere to lie down or sit comfortably where you won't be disturbed and close your eyes Place your feet firmly on the ground This is time for you to shine a light on your problems You are safe and totally supported Take a few deep breaths and let your body and mind relax Breathe in and breathe out Releasing all of your tension as you breathe out Breathe in and breathe out In your mind's eye see yourself sitting in a comfy chair Imagine a warm glow of love surrounding and protecting you You feel safe and supported Imagine that you have become a separate person and now standing beside the you in the chair You are now observing the old you in the comfy chair You are totally unattached and just an observer You are not feeling the pain of the old you The old you has come to shine a light on all of their problems and worries It is safe for the old you to express themselves They are totally supported As the observer you see the old you through a new light As a great friend that needs comforting with love and compassion Allowing your observing self to hear her woes and troubles of the old you with no judgement They have no power over you You can see these troubles in a new light As the observer you just need to be supportive and allow your old self to talk All the old self needs right now is love and compassion and to feel that they are being heard and understood in a compassionate way Allow your old self to tell you about the things that are troubling them and making them feel lost for a few moments longer The observing you listens with a new understanding through a new light The old you wants to be heard and comforted The observing you listens with love and compassion When you both feel ready say to the old you I hear you and gently encase them in a big hug If the old you wants to cry and release all those pent up emotions then allow them to do so Without judgement you are there to support your old self not to judge As the observer you tell the old you that you love them and will also support you even when things seem to be going wrong Allow both of you this time and space to be where you are and to be ok with this Be in this space of love for each other for a few moments longer Enjoy this time to shine a light on whatever is happening at this time with no judgement and attachment it's all ok Be safe in the knowledge that these fears and worries will change With a new understanding of yourself imagine stepping back into the you in the comfy chair You are now one but with more love and compassion for yourself You can now see that your feelings of being lost are not as powerful as you first thought You can see that you have the power to overcome these feelings There is light at the end of the tunnel Tune in to whatever you are feeling it is all ok You are safe and supported Take a deep breath in and out Gently wriggle your toes and your fingers and then when you are ready open your eyes
