Find somewhere to lie down or sit comfortably where you won't be disturbed and close your eyes.
Place your feet firmly on the ground.
Take a few deep breaths and let your body and mind relax.
If you notice thoughts popping into your head,
Acknowledge them but don't follow them.
Rest in this space for a few moments.
Breathe in and out.
Releasing all of your tension and thoughts when you breathe out.
Breathe in and out.
You feel relaxed and safe to open your heart.
Pick a colour that represents love to you.
It could be pink or yellow,
Blue,
Purple or red.
Any colour you like.
The colour that represents love to you.
In your mind's eye,
Imagine a closed rosebud.
The colour that you have chosen that represents love in the centre of your chest.
Imagine the rosebud beginning to open to become a beautiful flower.
Be safe in the knowledge that you are in a well protected space.
You are supported and loved.
Continue opening the buds and notice how you are feeling.
Is there anything holding you back from opening this bud?
Do you feel any resistance from allowing this bud to open?
You may feel vulnerable and a little scared but whatever you are feeling,
It's okay.
Just notice how you are feeling.
As it becomes that beautiful flower,
Repeat this affirmation.

Exhale,
Resize the beautiful rose in the centre of your chest and allow the colour to radiate all around your body.
Start at the top of your head and slowly bring the feeling down to your shoulders,
Your arms and around your torso.
Down to your legs and ankles.
Just sit in this beautiful space and give love to yourself.
To the change that you are about to instigate.
Hold on to the feeling of love for yourself.
Opening your heart allows you to receive the love you deserve.
You can leave yourself in the colour of love.
When you are ready and in your own time,
Safely close the rose in your chest again until it is a tight bud.
Remember,
Any time you feel difficulty receiving love,
You can allow this rosebud to open and immerse yourself in the colour of love.
The more you practice receiving love,
The easier it will become.
Take a deep breath in and out.
When you are ready,
Wriggle your toes and fingers and open your eyes.
