Welcome to Remember Who You Are meditation.

This is a sacred time for you to stop whatever it is you're doing and give yourself this time to really access your highest self,

Your intuition,

The unlimited potential within you,

Who you really are.

You know who that is.

It's just a moment to receive that connection.

Be comfortable,

Perhaps be lying down and prepare yourself to just enjoy this time.

There's no right way to do this.

There's only this time for you.

As you're resting here,

Perhaps check in,

Check into this space with your eyes and see around you things as they are.

Notice textures,

Notice color,

Notice stillness and movement.

And now guide your awareness to the sounds that you hear.

At first you hear louder sounds and then as you listen more deeply,

More subtle sounds appear.

Deepen your awareness of listening.

As you listen,

Some sounds might sound pleasant or unpleasant.

Perhaps practice non-judgment here by just letting sounds be as they are,

Ever changing.

Some sounds sharper than others.

Just notice the sound for its own qualities,

How it changes and moves.

And then bring that awareness closer to your body,

Closer to your body and feel,

Feel the weight of your head resting here and perhaps even give up more of the weight of your head to this moment.

Let the support beneath you really lift up to meet you so that your body can relax and restore.

Feel down your back,

Down your pair of spinals,

Down your hips and allow your body to relax into this moment.

Your legs to feel heavy,

Knees unhinged,

Calves soft and open,

Even feet and toes relaxed.

Let that awareness swim back up the top of the feet,

Back up the legs,

Moving as you go,

Releasing the sensations there.

As you become conscious up through the front of the body,

All the way up to the abdominals and the chest.

As you breathe in,

Notice the breath and notice the breath.

Leave the body completely,

Let it go.

Bring that awareness up through the throat,

Up to the head and turn your awareness now toward the mind and notice the thoughts coming in.

Lots of thoughts,

This thought,

That thought.

No problem.

Remember now in this moment that you are not your mind but you are the unlimited potential that directs your mind.

So all the thoughts that come up are just things.

They just rise up and pass away.

Notice the thoughts that rise up.

Without judgment,

Let them rise up and then like holding on to a balloon as they rise up,

Perhaps visualize releasing your fingers and fingertips and letting the balloon float away.

Noticing each thought as it rises up but not clinging to it,

Not believing every thought we think.

They're just thoughts.

If one particular thought keeps intruding,

No problem,

This is the nature of thoughts.

You might recite the mantra,

Neti neti neti.

I am not this thought,

I am not that thought.

Neti neti neti.

And watch it float away.

This is a practice.

So make no worries about it being perfect.

Let it be.

As you breathe in,

Just breathe in a fresh clean breath and really feel yourself coming into your body.

And as you exhale,

Allow your breath to be released completely,

Relaxing your entire body.

I'd love you to consider thinking about your aspects of yourself,

Personality,

Who you are,

Maybe at work,

That type of person that you are at work,

With all the demands of work,

With all the expectations there.

Just visualize that aspect of yourself now at work,

That part of you,

That part of self that you carry to work.

Just really feel that part of yourself.

Notice it deeply.

Honor it.

And then maybe just for this time,

This time of a practice,

Imagine that you could peel that aspect of yourself away and let it drift away,

Let it float away,

Like a layer of yourself being released for now.

You can always reclaim it later,

No problem,

Just for now.

Peel that layer of work self away.

And now come back,

Come back to self and maybe visualize that aspect of yourself that is yourself with your friends and all of your friendships and all of the requirements there and the way that you see yourself in those relationships,

The expectations,

All the concerns around being a friend,

A good friend,

Trying.

Just notice that and really honor that aspect of yourself.

Just for this moment,

That friendship layer,

Allow yourself to peel that layer away and let it float off for now,

For a practice.

And draw all of your awareness back to the body,

Back to your body.

And maybe visualize yourself as who you are with your family,

That part of you who's been with these people for so many days,

Many years,

Who know you in that special way or in a certain way.

It might be aspects of you that have a lot of expectations there.

Just notice what those are for this time without judgment of yourself or others,

All that you carry into that relationship with family.

And kindly honor yourself there,

That part of you.

Really see it.

And for this moment,

Peel away who you are with your family and let it float away.

Now bring that awareness back now,

Back now to yourself.

And just visualize who you are as a woman,

Who you are with all the expectations of being a woman,

All of the concerns,

All of the issues that we deal with.

And really notice that,

Really honor that aspect of yourself as a woman.

All the trappings there,

All the expectations.

Just notice that and really honor it and observe all that it takes.

And as you're ready,

Visualize peeling away that woman-ness from yourself and letting it float away with lots of love and care as you practice releasing it.

And now come back,

Back.

Notice yourself as a human being with the body and all the concerns of the body of keeping it clean,

Of caring for it,

Of keeping its fitness,

Of feeding it,

Of being in the body.

And really notice the concerns of that experience,

The predicament of being human.

Notice it.

Allow yourself to really truly honor the state of being human in this body today.

And then just for this moment consider visualizing peeling away the body,

Peeling away all of that body concerns,

All of that sense.

I want you to notice what's left there.

You want you to really see it,

Feel it,

And connect to it.

Breathe it in.

Really settle in to that aspect of who you truly are.

Does it have a vibration or a name?

Enjoy this moment of connecting to that brightness.

Know that this part of you is always here,

Always here,

Your highest wisdom,

Your highest self,

That ever-changing part of your being.

You can connect to it anytime.

Connect to your higher self by asking your higher self for guidance,

That wise,

Bright,

Light energetics.

Use this meditation anytime.

You want to recapture,

Recollect yourself,

Reconnect.

It's always here for you.

You are always here for you.

May you be open to all the blessings that exist around you and may you be a blessing onto others.
