Good morning.
Welcome to a short two to three minute meditation just to come home to the breath and find a few moments of stillness this morning.
So whether you're laying down or sitting up,
Just taking a full deep inhale through the nose and exhale,
Sigh it out through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.
Taking an inventory of the body from the top of the head to the shoulders to the stomach,
Hips,
Knees and feet.
How am I feeling this morning?
Is there any stiffness?
Any place that just isn't quite ready to wake up yet.
Send your awareness and your breath there.
Inhale through the nose and exhale.
Tuning now to that small triangular space beneath the nostrils above the lips.
Can you feel the breath moving in and out of the body?
Sensing a direction each way.
In Italian,
There's a beautiful translation for inhale and exhale,
In spiro I live and ex spiro I die.
In this new day as you inhale,
What can you bring into your life?
Can you receive fully allowing your lungs to expand?
Allow this to be a metaphor for receiving in the day ahead.
And then as you exhale,
What can you let go from the past,
From yesterday?
Let it all go.
Have a beautiful day.
Namaste.
