Welcome to this brief meditation focusing on our heart chakra or our Anahata chakra.
Allow yourself to find a comfortable posture for meditation.
Any configuration that allows you to sit comfortably for about five minutes or so.
Making sure that you have all the support you need to find stillness.
And allowing the spine to be tall and free.
Lifting up through the crown of the head while rooting down through the base of the spine.
Take a full big inhalation through the nose.
And exhale it out through the mouth allowing the shoulders to move away from the ears.
And surrender yourself into this posture.
Hands can fall anywhere that's comfortable.
Perhaps for this meditation you'd like to rest one or both hands gently on the heart space.
Our Anahata chakra.
As you begin to concentrate your awareness on the heart space.
Allow a beautiful warm natural green to envelop your being.
Like a nurturing hug from Mother Earth.
Fill yourself up with this beautiful green color.
From this space from our Anahata chakra we access our compassion.
We access our boundless ability to love.
For love we are made.
So I invite you now to ask for entry into your own heart and breathe from this space.
Feeling the beat of your heart and the movement of your lungs.
Allow yourself to be vulnerable and surrender to feeling whatever it is that you need to feel.
Whatever that is ready to be expressed through the heart.
And ask yourself how can I give and receive more love?
How can I give and receive more love?
Continue and always continue to ask for entry into your own heart.
As you breathe from the space you can hear the ancient vibratory sound of the seed sound or Bija mantra for the heart chakra YAM.
You can repeat this sound YAM with every inhalation and exhalation as you let yourself become absorbed into the heart space and absorbed into this beautiful natural green color.
How can I give and receive more love?
How can I give and receive more love?
And if your hand is not there already you can bring one or both hands to the heart space and take a final inhalation and exhalation.
And when you're ready you can softly open the eyes and have a beautiful rest of your day.
