Welcome.
Today is about release.
Letting go of the tightness,
The conditioning and the layers that have been weighing you down.
We live in a world that teaches us to shrink,
To tame ourselves,
To be nice,
Quiet,
Controlled.
But the wild woman within you knows better.
She knows how to shake off what doesn't belong.
She knows how to shed old skin.
So in this session,
We're going to soften,
Surrender and let go.
Okay,
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Let your eyes gently close.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and sigh it out through the mouth.
Do it again.
A full,
Nourishing inhale.
One awareness down into your body.
Notice your shoulders,
Let them soften.
Notice your jaw,
Unclench and let it melt.
Notice your belly,
Let it be soft,
Free,
Unheld.
With every out breath,
Allow tension to drain away.
Now imagine roots growing from the base of your spine,
From the soles of your feet and down into the soil beneath you.
Feel those roots anchoring deep,
Deep into the earth.
And as you breathe out,
Imagine everything heavy,
Old stories,
Self doubt,
Guilt,
Shame,
The need to be perfect,
All of it flowing down through your roots,
Returning to the earth.
The earth can hold it.
The earth knows how to compost what you no longer need.
Inhale through the nose and with your exhale,
Let out a sound,
Maybe a sigh,
Maybe a whisper,
Maybe a growl.
Do it again.
Inhale and exhale with sound.
Feel how the body releases more deeply when you allow sound to move through.
Now rest in this space.
Notice how it feels when you let go.
Notice the lightness,
The space inside of you.
You don't need to do anything.
Just breathe and be here for a few moments.
Slowly bring your awareness back to the room around you.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take one last deep breath in and a long,
Freeing sigh out.
Today you've released,
You've shed old weight.
You've remembered that freedom lives in your body.
Whisper these words to yourself,
Either out loud or silently.
I release what holds me back.
I am free.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
