Welcome.

Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position,

Either lying down or sitting with your spine tall but relaxed.

Close your eyes if that feels safe or soften your gaze.

This is your pause,

A short break in your day to breathe,

Rest and reset.

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment.

Bring your awareness to your natural breath.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your belly.

With each inhale feel a sense of lightness entering your body.

With each exhale release any tension,

Worry or mental clutter.

You don't need to change your breath,

Just watch,

Notice,

Be.

Bring awareness to your feet,

Feel them supported,

Heavy,

Relaxed.

Let this sense of ease move up your calves,

Knees.

Continue up through your hips and lower back,

Allowing the body to soften.

Let your chest,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Hands release,

Gently letting go of any tightness.

Soften your jaw,

Allow your eyes to relax and all the little muscles behind the eyes relaxing.

Soften your forehead,

Allow your whole face to feel ease.

Imagine the whole body resting as if floating in a gentle supportive space.

Picture yourself in a quiet sunlit place,

Maybe a garden,

A beach or a peaceful room.

Feel the warmth or gentle light touching your skin.

Imagine a soft refreshing breeze or cold water washing over you,

Clearing away heaviness or stress.

With each inhale gather calm,

Clarity and energy.

With each exhale let go of any lingering tension or fatigue.

Bring awareness to the sensations in your body,

Feeling your body resting on the floor or chair.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and take a big stretch.

Allow this calm,

Clarity and lightness to travel with you into the rest of your day.

And remember you can return to this reset anytime you need a pause.
