Welcome to this deeply relaxing theta healing yoga nidra created especially for anyone prone to anxious attachment.
Before we begin I just want to gently name something.
If you're here you might recognize the feeling of wanting closeness.
And perhaps feeling fear when it's not there.
You might notice your mind overthinking.
Your body feeling unsettled.
Your heart longing for reassurance.
Anxious attachment can feel like I'm too much or what if they leave.
Why don't I feel safe right now?
And I want you to know that nothing is wrong with you.
These patterns were learned often from a time when you genuinely needed more safety,
More consistency,
More love.
And today we begin to gently teach your body something new.
That you are safe.
That you are enough.
That you can come home to yourself.
So make sure that you are feeling comfortable seated or lying down.
Make sure you're warm enough.
And allow your body now to begin to feel heavy.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Take a deep breath in.
And softly exhale.
I invite you to follow my voice.
I invite you to allow your intuition to open.
You might feel sensations,
Memories,
Emotions.
You might feel energy shifting.
Whatever arises,
You are safe to feel it here.
See if you can make yourself 5% more comfortable now.
Bring awareness to your breath.
Breathing in deeply.
And exhaling slowly.
Again,
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
As you breathe in,
Imagine breathing in safety.
And as you exhale,
Release the need to hold everything together.
Inhaling calm.
Exhaling pressure.
Let your body begin to understand.
You don't have to chase safety anymore.
You can create it right here.
Bring your awareness to your third eye.
Softening any tension.
Left eye.
And all the tiny muscles behind both eyes.
Jaw.
Notice if you've been holding,
Clenching,
Bracing.
Let it soften.
Throat.
The space where so many unspoken words live.
Let it open gently.
Heart space.
If there is tightness here,
That's okay.
This part of you has been trying to protect you.
Just breathe into it.
With kindness.
Stomach.
Where anxiety can swirl.
Let it be held,
Not fixed.
Legs.
Feet.
Let your whole body begin to feel supported.
As you breathe in,
Feel energy rising up your spine.
And as you exhale,
Feel it flowing back down.
Like a wave of reassurance.
Up.
Now as you inhale,
Let that energy rise all the way to the top of your head.
And as you exhale,
Let it flow down the front of your spine.
All the way to the top of your body.
Soothing your heart.
Your belly.
Your whole system.
Teaching your body a new rhythm.
I am safe.
Even when I feel uncertain.
Now bring your awareness down.
Into your feet.
Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet deep into the earth.
You don't have to float away.
You don't have to reach outward.
You are held.
Draw that earth energy up.
Into your legs.
Your hips.
Your heart.
Let it anchor you.
Take your awareness now to the top of your head.
And imagine yourself in a small ball of light.
Going to go on a journey.
And you are inside this ball of light.
Rising up through the clouds.
Past the stars.
Past dark layers and light layers.
Through a pink mist.
Golden light and a jelly like substance.
And out into the most brilliant white light.
This is a space of truth.
Of healing.
Of deep repatterning.
Allow this light to pour over you.
Filling you up.
Each cell being filled with this white light.
Now gently allow the feeling of being safe.
Even when someone is not immediately there.
The knowing.
I am still loved.
Even in space.
Allow your body to learn.
What it feels like to trust.
To trust yourself.
To trust life.
To release the belief.
That I will be abandoned.
And replace it with.
I am held.
I am supported.
I am enough.
Allow the activation of self love.
Not the kind you have to earn.
But the kind that simply exists.
Let your heart feel.
I choose me.
I stay with me.
I don't leave myself.
Now gently release the urge to chase.
To overthink.
To prove your worth.
Let it dissolve in this light.
And begin to call your energy back.
From people.
From conversations.
From places where you have been waiting.
Calling it all back.
Cleansed.
Whole.
You are no longer abandoning yourself to be loved.
You are the love.
And now from this full place.
Let your love expand outward.
Not from lack.
But from overflow.
This is what secure love feels like.
Grounded.
Open.
Whole.
Gently draw your energy back in.
And place a soft loving boundary around yourself.
A field of self respect.
Self honour.
Self protection.
You don't need to grip.
Or cling.
You are steady.
Within yourself.
Before we go back down.
Ask for anything you need.
Or any intentions you wish to set.
Believe that it is done.
Allow this white light to fill you up once more.
As you get back into your ball of light.
And take this white light with you.
And down we go.
Through the jelly like substance.
And the pink mist.
And the golden layer.
Through the dark layers.
And the light layers.
Past the planets and the stars.
Through the clouds.
Across to the top of your head.
And down to your heart.
Releasing this beautiful white light.
Into your heart space.
Allowing it to fill your whole body.
Pulling the earth energy once again.
Up through the roots.
And into your feet.
And up your legs.
Heaven and earth mixing.
Feeling grounded.
Secured.
Loved.
Take a deep breath in.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Become aware.
Of your fingers and toes.
And go about your day.
