Transcript

Turning and spinning,

I fall into this moment.

I am caught in the echo of my own inertia.

But I come here,

To this moment,

Longing to slow down.

Longing for refuge,

Longing to surrender.

Come as you are.

I hear a voice within beckon.

Come as you are,

Turning and spinning and all.

Come as you are.

And so I enter this moment with all my momentum.

And I allow myself to just be.

I allow myself to be.

I allow this moment to be as is.

I step back and I witness all the running I do in my mind.

All the mental itches I feel I must scratch.

I observe my thoughts roaming into the future.

I observe my thoughts diving into the past.

I observe them and I allow them to be.

Instead of fighting the fidgeting,

Instead of fighting the agitation,

I give them pardon and offer them space to rest.

And I let my breath in deeper and I release a little more as I let it go.

I accept all parts of me.

I accept the parts that do not want to be wrangled,

The parts that are challenged by stillness.

I allow them space to exist rather than push them away.

I invite all of me into the calm waters that rest inside my soul.

And I breathe in deeper and I sink a little more as I let go.

I allow myself to be.

I allow myself to feel.

I allow myself to think.

I bow to the thinker,

To the feeler that is in me.

And I know that at the center of my feeling,

At the center of my thinking,

Is a calm serenity that never wavers.

An ether of peace,

Constant and abiding.

I allow myself to be right here,

Exactly as I am.

I breathe this in a little deeper and I rise a little more as I let it go.

I allow myself to be.

I allow myself to be.

The more I resist,

The more I am met with resistance.

The more I release,

The lighter I feel.

I am light.

I am releasing.
