Hi there,
I'm Anita Kaiser and today I'm going to lead you in a tap along to help stop the cycle of overthinking.
And so many of the empath and sensitive folk I work with get stuck in that cycle of overthinking and over analyzing and spinning and spinning and spinning.
And so this tap along is going to help get you out of that loop.
So before we get started,
I just want you to take a moment and check in.
Notice how you're feeling about that right now in this moment.
Just allow yourself to get present.
Maybe put a number from zero to 10 on any sensations you're aware of on the cycle you're stuck in right now,
10 being the most and zero not at all.
So once you've noticed that,
We're going to get started.
So this is going to be a follow along,
I'm going to say something,
And you're going to repeat after me.
All right.
So on the outside of the hand,
The karate chop point doesn't matter which hand just gently tapping.
Even though I'm stuck in this overthinking loop.
Right here right now,
I'm safe.
Even though I find myself stuck overthinking.
Right here right now,
I'm safe.
Even though I find myself spinning constantly,
And it's exhausting.
Right here right now,
I'm safe.
While you're still tapping on your hands,
Just take a moment,
Notice if anything's changed.
And then let's move to in between the eyes.
Overthinking.
Outside of the eyes,
Stuck here.
Underneath the eyes,
Spinning in this loop.
Underneath the nose,
Overthinking.
And the crease of the chin,
Over analyzing.
Down to the chest,
Always stuck in my head.
Underneath the arm,
Spinning.
Take a moment,
Bring your hands to your heart.
And just notice how that feels.
Notice what thoughts or awareness you've had.
Just be present here.
And then coming back in between the eyes.
I'm tired of this constant spinning.
Outside of the eyes.
I wonder,
Underneath the eyes,
I wonder if there's something else available to me.
Underneath the nose,
I wonder if it's safe on the crease of the chin for me to find a different way.
Down to the chest.
I'm open to the idea,
Underneath the arm,
Of not getting stuck in this loop.
Top of the head.
I'm open to the idea of not over analyzing.
In between the eyes.
I wonder what that would look like.
Outside of the eyes.
I wonder what that would feel like.
Underneath the eyes.
I wonder if that would serve me better.
Underneath the nose,
I'm curious about this idea.
Down to the crease of the chin.
Just tapping here.
No other words.
Down to the chest,
Tapping.
Underneath the arm,
Tapping.
Shaking that off and bringing your hands back to your heart.
And just noticing whatever there is to notice for you.
Maybe you had some awareness come in.
Maybe you had a memory.
Maybe there was a message from your subconscious.
Maybe it felt really emotional.
All of these are clues and important pieces for you to notice what's going on within you.
