Welcome to this guided meditation.

My name is Angela and today's meditation is for new moms.

This is a special meditation dedicated to my lovely friend Sabrina as she steps into this incredible journey of motherhood.

You can listen to this seated with eyes closed or maybe with headphones on or even on speakerphone.

Do what you need to do and just take in these messages.

Inhale deeply,

Filling your lungs with warmth,

Love,

Calmness and exhaling out any tension,

Worry or discomfort.

With each breath allow yourself to settle into this moment.

Feel your body held up and supported.

Really try to feel your breath enter and release from your body.

Hello beautiful mother.

You are here and you are enough.

You are doing beautifully.

This is your gentle nurturing reminder of the strength,

Love and beauty of this new phase in your life.

Motherhood is a journey of love,

Patience and discovery.

And if you're having an easy moment or a difficult moment,

Please know that right now you are strong,

Even if you feel uncertain.

You are enough.

Just do the best you can.

You are loved.

And even when exhaustion sets in,

Your love is shining through in everything you do.

You are seen,

Even when it feels like you're alone and no one notices all that you give.

You are deeply appreciated and valued.

You will grow alongside your baby,

Learning,

Adjusting.

And there's no perfect way,

Only your way and that's more than enough.

Take a deep breath in,

Welcoming in kindness for yourself.

And exhaling out,

Letting go of any pressure,

Self-judgment,

Self-doubt.

You can place a hand on your heart if you'd like.

Feel the warmth and love within you,

Maybe even feel your heartbeat,

Or your chest rise and fall with every breath.

The love within you has always been there and your breath is always accessible if you need balance and calm.

Know that you are surrounded by love,

Support and by all the mothers who've walked this path before you and for those who are walking beside you now.

Take another deep breath in,

Breathing in kindness and love for yourself.

And as you exhale,

Allow yourself to receive this truth that you are a gift to your baby,

Just as your baby is a gift to you.

When you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the space around you,

Wiggling your fingers and your toes.

Feel the love within you and carry it forward into your day.

You're doing an incredible job.

You are loved and you are enough.
