Take a moment to get comfortable.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
And take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And a long,
Gentle breath out.
Breathing in relaxation and exhaling tension.
Let your breath rise and fall naturally.
Allow yourself to arrive here and be present.
Not in yesterday,
Not in the weekend ahead.
Just right here,
This Friday morning.
And just for a moment,
Notice what it feels like to have made it here.
You lived through another week.
You've shown up for responsibilities,
Relationships,
Challenges.
Maybe some disappointments or victories.
Ordinary moments,
And everything in between.
And now,
Here you are.
Take a breath and simply acknowledge that.
You made it to Friday.
There's something quietly beautiful about that.
Not because the week was perfect or because everything got done or every problem was solved.
But because you kept going and kept showing up.
This morning is an opportunity to pause long enough to notice that.
Take a slow breath in.
Imagine gathering all the wisdom,
Growth,
Goodness this week has offered you.
And a long breath out,
Releasing what no longer needs to come with you.
Breathing in.
And releasing out.
Letting go of conversations that keep replaying or mistakes you keep carrying.
Pressure to do more,
Expectations.
From this moment just let it all soften.
Let it drift a little further away.
Imagine setting some of that down,
Not forever,
Just for now.
Breathing in,
Gathering what serves you.
And breathing out releasing what doesn't.
Allow your awareness to settle into this present moment.
Notice the feeling of the air moving in and out of your body.
The rise and fall of your chest as it expands and contracts with every breath.
Notice the sounds around you.
Notice the support beneath you,
Holding you up.
No need to rush ahead to tomorrow.
Or to revisit the entire week.
Life is happening here,
Right now,
Today.
In this breath,
In this heartbeat,
In this morning light.
We often hurry through our days waiting for the next thing.
Anticipation for a problem to be solved.
To finally feel okay.
There's something precious about right now.
This Friday morning doesn't have to simply be a bridge to something else.
It's a gift all by itself.
Take a moment to appreciate something simple.
Maybe it's the comfort of your bed.
The warmth of a blanket.
Sounds of nature outside.
The smell of morning coffee waiting for you.
People you love.
The fact that you have another day to experience this life.
Let yourself receive the gift of this ordinary,
Beautiful moment.
As you inhale and exhale.
Imagine yourself releasing what you no longer want to carry.
Welcome in the peace and calm where there has been tension.
Allow yourself to fully be here and to receive this gift of today.
Take a long nourishing breath in.
And a slow,
Complete breath out.
And as you move into your Friday.
Carry forward what strengthens you.
Leave behind what drains you.
Notice those moments of beauty that are so easy to miss.
And remember that this life is not waiting somewhere in the future.
