Welcome to this guided meditation created to support your body's recovery after workouts or sporting events,

Accelerate muscle tissue repair,

And help you stay focused on achieving your health and fitness goals.

Practice this meditation regularly for the best results.

If you're using it primarily for workout recovery,

It's ideal to follow it right after your workouts or at night before bed.

However,

If your focus is on achieving your fitness goals,

I recommend practicing it daily or at least five times per week,

Ideally before bed,

For a minimum of one month to truly experience the benefits.

Now let's get started.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Release any tension from your body.

Bring your awareness to the present moment.

Feel the weight of your body being supported by the surface beneath you.

Imagine roots extending from the base of your spine and the soles of your feet,

Anchoring you deep into the earth.

This connection grounds you,

Providing stability and strength.

Now bring your attention to your breath.

Notice its natural rhythm as it flows in and out.

With each inhale,

Feel yourself drawing in fresh energy and vitality.

And with each exhale,

Let go of any lingering tension,

Stress,

Or fatigue.

Now let's take a moment to scan through your body,

Focusing on the major muscle groups and areas that typically work hard during your workout.

We're going to start at the head and neck.

Release any tightness in your forehead,

Jaw,

And neck.

Imagine a soothing,

Warm light flowing over and through these areas,

Easing any tension or stress.

Now bring your awareness to your shoulders and arms.

Allow your shoulders to soften,

Releasing any tightness or strain.

Feel that warm light move down your arms all the way to your fingertips,

Bringing a sense of calm and relaxation.

Now bring your awareness to your chest and back.

As you breathe,

Feel your chest expanding with fresh energy.

Let the warm light flow through your chest and down your back,

Relaxing every muscle.

Now focus on your core,

The center of your strength.

Visualize this area filled with the warm healing light,

Revitalizing your muscles and internal organs.

Let that light move down to your shoulders and back.

Now bring your awareness to your hips,

Easing any tightness and restoring balance.

Now concentrate on your legs and feet.

These powerful muscles support you in every step that you take.

Feel the warm light moving down your thighs,

Knees,

Calves,

And into your feet,

Releasing any fatigue and filling them with renewed energy.

Now allow me to take you on a journey through time and space.

Imagine yourself having already achieved your fitness goals.

Picture yourself standing in a place that represents success for you.

See your body,

Strong,

Healthy,

And full of energy and vitality.

Notice how you feel at this moment of accomplishment.

Take a moment to fully immerse yourself in this vision.

Feel the satisfaction of knowing that your hard work has now paid off.

You are now the embodiment of your health and fitness goals.

As you hold this vision,

Begin to rewind the steps that brought you to this point.

Imagine yourself taking each action in reverse,

One by one.

Visualize your consistent workouts,

Where you pushed through challenges,

Embraced discipline,

And built your strength,

Stamina,

And flexibility.

Picture the healthy meals you prepared and enjoyed,

Nourishing your body and fueling your progress.

Recall the moments of rest and recovery where you honored and respected.

Your body's need to rest and recharge.

Visualize yourself celebrating each breakthrough and milestone along the journey,

With each step bringing you closer to your ultimate goal.

Continue to reverse this journey in your mind until you find yourself back in the present moment.

Recognize that every step you took was essential in bringing you to where you are now.

As you return to the present moment,

Know that you already possess the strength,

Determination,

And resilience needed to achieve your goals.

The path to success is already within you and you are fully capable of taking each step forward with confidence.

Now repeat these affirmations to yourself as I say them.

My body is changing,

Take a moment to express gratitude to your body for its strength,

Wiggle your fingers and toes.
