This is a meditation that brings together heart and wisdom. I invite you to keep an eye on your spiritual ego here. There’s no mountain to climb, no intellectual exercise to understand. Just a continued softening into life through all your heart, as you connect with a deeper sense of truth and of course mystery and wonder.

Sitting or lying down somewhere nice and comfortable and taking a nice deep breath in breathing out and gently closing your eyes letting go of your day so far,

Your morning knowing that there's nothing that you need to do right now the world can go about its business but you've made the choice to step out for a moment to rest and recharge beginning by feeling your whole body rising and falling as you breathe in and out and as you do this thoughts will come and go emotions will step in they may stay for a while no need to change them or push them away let them be here and now bring your awareness to your heart space wherever it appears for you or if you prefer you can sit with your breathing sensing your body as a whole rising and falling and now allowing these questions to go wherever they go no need to answer them just allowing them to echo and resonate as they will so with a gentle curiosity are you your name?

Are you the role that you play in your family or at work?

Are you the person that your friends know?

Are you your successes or your failures?

And you may have noticed that your minds wandered into thoughts if that's the case,

That's okay just noticing that and who is aware of these thoughts?

Are you your thoughts?

And are you your emotions?

Your fears?

Your anxieties?

The sadness that sometimes arises?

The anger?

Are you your joyful elated self?

And feeling into your body now feeling the energy inside your body that may arise as tingling aliveness lightness and then asking yourself am I my body?

What about my body is me?

And are any parts of my body more me?

Am I the limitations of my body?

If you want to,

Allowing yourself to fall back a little more what's behind the awareness of all of this?

Is there anything that is aware of this awareness?

Gently sensing behind that one resting in your heart space and from this place,

Noticing who is aware can this be found?

And asking the question who am I?

Listening to your heart for the answer who am I?

And as you do this noticing what it's like to be here experiencing life from the heart knowing that this is your complete self as a loving presence a thread that was there at the very beginning and has continued through your life it's there at the beginning and end of every thought at the beginning and end of every emotion of every difficult time you've had quietly watching,

Moment by moment that loving awareness is there gentle,

Kind and knowing offering everything but making no footprint and continuing to sit in your heart space however you find yourself right now resting as I and as you continue to sit allowing your awareness to find space inside and outside of your body as if your body has no boundaries as if you and the world are one one consciousness continuing to let go falling as far as your heart wants to go you are safe you are free consciousness becoming aware of itself and now inviting you to take a deep breath in breathing out and gently opening your eyes as we end this meditation
