Hello and welcome to this Insight Timer guided meditation.
Within this session I'm going to guide you on a shamanic journey of connecting with the spirit animal of the rabbit.
Before doing so let me share with you my Soul Pathway Oracle card so that you can begin connecting with the rabbit at a much deeper level and so that you can connect with its gifts and medicine.
The spirit animal of the rabbit symbolizes fear and calls you to confront the anxiety that you may feel within.
When you spot rabbits out in nature they tend to freeze and run at first sight.
When you move slowly they begin to adapt to your presence.
This is an example of how you can gently welcome in your emotions as they arise from within your soul.
If you are connecting with the spirit animal of the rabbit then now is a time for you to confront those suppressed aspects of self instead of denying them.
Don't allow them to consume you but instead notice the power within yourself to overcome any obstacle on your path.
Write down your concerns or fears that you may have as you release what no longer serves you.
Now let me guide you on a shamanic journey of connecting with the spirit animal of the rabbit.
To begin this guided meditation and shamanic journey I'd like for you to take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
One more time.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
As you begin to connect with yourself and your breathing.
As you connect with the wisdom within your soul.
To begin this guided meditation I'd like you to relax each and every muscle and fiber in your body.
Start by relaxing the top of your head.
Bring that relaxation down through to your eyelids as they begin to soften.
Bring that relaxation further down and deeper down now through to your cheeks as your mouth begins to soften.
Bringing that relaxation further down and deeper down through to your neck.
As you then bring that relaxation down to your shoulders.
Keep focusing on your breathing.
As you take a deep breath in through your nose.
Rise your shoulders and as you release allow your shoulders to fall by your waist side.
As you release any stress or tension that you may hold in your muscles and in your shoulders.
Bring that relaxation further down and deeper down through to your torso.
The upper half of your body as it floats further down and down to your stomach.
As you begin to relax and soften your stomach.
You may begin to feel as if you're sinking into that seat at which you're sat or the bed at which you lay.
As you relax simply and easily.
As you connect with the now in this present moment.
Bring that relaxation further down now through to your legs,
Through your knees.
As you begin to relax your joints and then bringing that further down,
Through your legs and all the way to the tips of your toes.
Feeling as though you're absorbed in this relaxation now.
You may begin to feel as though you're in a cocoon of relaxation and protection during this shamanic journey.
You may associate this to a deep purple or a deep blue that assists you on this journey of relaxation and of connecting with the spirit animal of the rabbit.
Again continue focusing on your breathing as you take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
That's right.
Release any stress or tension which you may hold within your mind,
Your body and your soul.
And connect with your breathing as you connect with the shamanic drum now.
Allow yourself to go slow and steady as you feel in to the shamanic drum.
Breathe in and breathe out.
And start to become in sync and in rhythm with the drum as you begin connecting with your soul.
As I guide you on this shamanic journey of connecting with the spirit animal of the rabbit,
I would like for you to be honest and transparent with yourself as you become aware of your fears and the anxieties at which you feel from within so that you can release,
Let go and embrace your true soul's essence.
Now imagine taking a walk in nature.
And as you go on this beautiful walk,
Allow yourself to first of all connect with Mother Earth and the earth beneath your feet.
For Mother Earth can assist you in providing that unconditional love,
Nurture and support upon this beautiful shamanic journey.
Providing you with the unconditional love.
Smell the freshness of the air.
As you smell the beautiful freshness of nature and your surroundings.
You may smell the dew of the water on the grass.
You may begin to smell the trees.
Allow yourself to connect with the beautiful depth of nature.
And as you walk through the fields,
Allow yourself to again be slow and steady.
Take your time as you adapt to your surroundings.
And as you begin to do so,
You may notice rabbits in the distance.
You may notice that some rabbits freeze and run at first sight.
And this is a sign for you to take your time.
Go slow and adapt to their presence.
And notice they will begin to adapt to yours.
Slowly begin to approach the rabbits as you connect with them in this moment.
And as you connect with nature.
When you begin to do so,
You notice that you're connecting much more deeply with one rabbit rather than the others.
You feel this soul connection and spirit connection with this rabbit.
As the rabbit begins to approach you,
You begin to slowly approach it.
Crouch down in this moment and connect within the eyes of the rabbits as a rabbit connects with you.
Float inside the eyes of the rabbits as you become at one with it.
And as it becomes at one with you.
Align with your mind,
Your body and your soul as you feel the rabbit within.
Now what I'd like for you to do is begin hopping around the field,
Hopping in the grass as you begin to adjust to your surroundings as this rabbit.
As you do so,
Allow yourself to notice any fears that may be present in the rabbits.
Maybe you're noticing other humans on this journey and you feel this slight fear being awakened from within.
Allow yourself to connect with that fear.
Confront the anxiety that you may feel within.
And then slowly begin to hop through the field as you connect with Mother Earth.
As this beautiful,
Tranquil rabbit,
Instead of freezing at your fears and running at first sight,
Allow yourself to adapt to the presence of them within you as you gently welcome in your emotions as they arise from your soul.
Now is a time for you to honour the suppressed aspects of self instead of denying them.
Rabbits symbolise your fears and anxieties within.
And it's essential for you to honour those feelings as they arise within your soul.
As you adapt to what these emotions may mean to you in your life,
Don't however allow these emotions to consume you,
But instead notice the power within yourself to overcome any obstacle on your path.
Allow yourself to reflect upon any concerns or fears that you may have as you release what no longer serves you.
Become mindful of what resides deep within your soul and allow it to come to surface as you honour the beauty of who you truly are.
Allow yourself to hop around this field more as you begin to feel that incredible power that you notice within yourself as you confront your fears.
As Susan Jeffers once said,
Feel the fear and do it anyway,
But adapt to those fears within so that you can begin to stand in your power and your strength as they arise from within your soul.
And then allow yourself to hop back into the presence of yourself and your soul.
As you do so,
Look back into the eyes of your own soul and then float back inside of your body.
And as you begin to do so,
I would like for you to reflect upon your own fears and your anxieties in this moment.
Notice how they are present within you.
Notice how it's okay to feel them,
For now is the time to release them and anything that no longer serves you.
Become mindful of what these fears may be and write them down after this guided shamanic journey of meditation so that you can begin releasing them in your own time.
And then what I'd like for you to do is take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and then allow yourself to come back to now with that power and strength in which you feel within as you bring to surface those suppressed and repressed aspects of self.
Notice that power and strength you have within to overcome any obstacle on your path.
Take a deep breath in your through your nose and out through your mouth and then allow yourself to come back to now.
Then allow yourself to reconnect with yourself and your surroundings.
Grab yourself a nice glass of water so that you can begin to regenerate yourself.
