The Bear calls you to embrace the sweet aspects of life though they also invite you to retreat to your cave when it's time to find peace and solitude within.

Welcome to the Spirit Animal of the Bear,

Guided meditation here on Inside Timer.

Symbolically,

The Spirit Animal of the Bear represents courage and strength.

Bears like to embrace the sweet aspects of life,

Though they also like to retreat to their cave when it's time to find peace and solitude.

Within this guided meditation,

I'm going to take you on a shamanic journey of connecting with the Spirit Animal of the Bear,

So that you can embrace that courage and strength within you,

And also so that you can restore your energy as you retreat to your inner cave.

To begin this guided meditation,

I'd like you to take a deep breath in through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

In through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

Finally one more time,

In through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

As you allow yourself to become present and connected with this very moment.

Relax,

Let go,

And allow yourself to release.

Listen to the sound of the drum,

As it assists you with connecting with yourself and your soul,

Whilst connecting with Mother Earth and the heartbeat of nature.

Keep life in your stride,

Allow yourself to go slow and steady.

Imagine now,

Taking a walk in nature.

Notice the feeling of the earth beneath your feet.

Notice the freshness of the air,

As you smell the scent of the leaves.

Breathe in the freshness of the air.

You may even be able to feel the wind on your face,

As it allows you to connect with yourself and your surroundings.

Allow yourself to find peace and tranquility in this moment,

As you walk slow and steadily in nature.

As you walk,

You notice a forest right in front of you.

Allow yourself to connect with the energy of the trees and your surroundings.

You may notice the sounds of the birds and other animals that may be around you at this moment.

Allow yourself to connect with them,

As you notice your connectedness with one and everything.

As you walk slowly into the forest,

You may even notice the crunching of the leaves beneath your feet.

You can hear the sounds of the trees as they whisper in the wind.

Slowly take a walk through the forest and notice your connection with your surroundings.

As you walk through the forest,

Notice some footprints before you,

Some bare footprints,

Almost as if a bear is right near you.

You can almost feel the connection of the energy of the bear,

But allow yourself to still connect with the sound of the drum and the energy of nature around you.

As you follow these footprints,

In the distance,

You notice a pack of bears in a beautiful lake playing there and connecting.

Slowly allow yourself to connect with them.

Notice as you draw closer to them,

That you feel the energy of the bears,

As that strength and courage comes from within you.

As you move closer towards the bears,

The bears become more connected with you.

Allow yourself to connect with each and every one of the bears individually in this moment.

As you do so,

You may notice this one bear,

Which you particularly resonate with.

Lock eyes with the bear,

As the bear locks eyes with you.

And as you lock eyes,

Allow yourself to become absorbed into the bear,

Float into the bear,

As you both become at one with one another.

As you do so,

Notice the strength of the bear within you,

And that energy that's building up,

That courage and strength that can support you in each and every moment as you go about life.

If only you allow yourself to connect with the spirit animal of the bear.

As you notice yourself in this lake,

Feel your connectedness with the water.

Connect with your inner emotions and feelings,

And notice the strength that comes from embodying them.

As you connect with the energy of the emotions,

You notice that vulnerability is your greatest strength.

If only again,

You allow yourself to connect with it.

And though,

Can be all too consuming.

So as you sit with the energy of the bear,

Allow yourself to take a walk in nature as the bear,

As you walk with all four feet through the forest.

As you do so,

Again,

Connect with the energy of nature,

Your surroundings,

And all of the other animals you surround yourself with.

Notice your bear cave before you.

As you notice your bear cave,

Allow yourself to go into it,

To find that peace and solitude within yourself.

Let's love to connect with their inner cave,

To embrace that peace and solitude within,

For this restores their energy so that when they reconnect with life,

Their energy is restored.

Connect with your bear cave in this moment.

Notice the emotions and feelings within yourself.

Find courage and strength within them,

And notice what they are teaching you,

As you allow yourself to stand in your power and strength.

Notice the sweet nectar of life as you find comfort in your cave.

It's like your place where you feel completely safe and at one with who you are.

Allow yourself to connect with your cave at any moment in time.

Now that you've allowed yourself to connect with those inner emotions and feelings,

Let's begin to emerge from your cave once more,

As you sit up and you take a walk back in to mother nature and to that forest at which you came.

As you immerse yourself with your surroundings,

Allow yourself to stand on your hind legs with the strength of the bear.

Notice the energy of strength and courage that are coming from within you,

And notice that you can call upon this at any time as you connect with the energy of the bear.

Allow yourself now to sit down and relax.

Float outside of the bear now,

As you reconnect with yourself,

And allow yourself to walk back through the forest at where you first came.

Notice the spirit animal of the bear following you,

To support and guide you in each and every moment,

To bring you that courage and strength within it.

When you feel like you have none,

Allow yourself to come back to now by taking a deep breath in through your nose,

And out through your mouth,

In through your nose,

And out through your mouth.

One final time,

In through your nose,

And out through your mouth,

And allow yourself to re-emerge,

Becoming present and connected with your surroundings.
