If it's safe to do so,

Close your eyes.

Take a couple of deep breaths.

Drift back to a happy memory.

Or imagine feeling happy.

What do you see?

What do you hear?

Are there any tastes or smells?

How do you feel?

Where does that sensation of happiness and relaxation manifest within your body?

Allow a smile to start spreading over your face.

Amplify that feeling of happiness.

Expand it.

Increase it.

Amplify it.

That's right.

Allow that sensation of happiness and relaxation to fill your entire body.

That's right.

Now gently open your eyes and retain this wonderful relaxation.

What a wonderful meditation. Great idea to revisit a happy memory as a way to recharge my batteries. Seems obvious but it easy to forget how to pause. Teacher continues to be one of my favorites.
