Welcome.
So make sure your body is as comfortable as possible and really allow yourself to sink into the surface beneath you.
Feel all the support of the cushion or whatever surface you're sitting or lying on.
Notice all the places your body is being held and supported.
And see if you can really let your body sink into that support even more.
And now bring your attention to your breath as it moves in and out of your nostrils or your mouth.
Breathing at your own pace.
And imagine your breath soothing your body and mind.
If you become aware of any thoughts in your mind,
Imagine releasing them like butterflies or birds.
Just picture any thoughts gently flying away until your mind is empty.
Feel all that's left is a body sitting or lying on a surface.
Give yourself permission to be in this moment,
Right here,
Right now.
With every breath,
Allow your body to feel more and more relaxed.
Think of your whole body becoming more and more relaxed.
Imagine all the muscles in your forehead relaxing and softening.
And allow all the tiny muscles around your eyes to relax and let go.
You can even imagine your brain relaxing.
And now allow your cheek muscles and your jaw to release and relax.
And feel that relaxation move to your mouth and your lips.
And now moving down to your neck.
Picture all the muscles in your neck relaxing and releasing any tightness or tension.
And moving down into your shoulders,
Giving your shoulders permission to soften and let go.
And now your arms.
Imagine a wave of relaxation from your upper arms down through your forearms,
Into your wrists,
And into your hands and fingers,
Letting all tension drain right out through your fingertips.
And now moving into your chest,
Feeling a wave of calm and relaxation in your chest with every breath.
And now allow this relaxation to spread into your stomach.
Picture your stomach area relaxing and letting go.
Just a gentle rising and sinking with each breath.
And moving into your back,
Allowing all the muscles in your back to soften and release.
Letting go of all tension and tightness.
Imagine moving this wave of relaxation into your legs,
Picture the muscles in your upper legs relaxing.
And imagine a wave of relaxation moving down to your lower legs,
Your ankles,
Your feet,
And your toes.
Good.
Now I'd like you to imagine a beautiful ball of light above your body.
You can imagine it like a golden sun or a bright white light or any color of your choosing that would feel healing right now.
Just picture a beautiful ball of light above your body.
Whatever size feels right to you.
And as you breathe,
Imagine warm healing rays emanating from this ball of light.
Really feel these healing rays of light filling up your entire body.
Picture this healing light comforting and soothing your body and your mind.
And now I'd like you to think of one feeling or quality that you'd like to take into your day.
It could be peace or calm or confidence or love,
Flow,
Gratitude,
Grounded.
Any word that represents a feeling you'd like to have today.
Now imagine that word and the feeling that word represents completely filling up your ball of light.
And fuse that ball with the feeling you chose.
Keep filling this ball of light up with the word itself or the feeling the word evokes.
And when your ball of light feels completely filled,
I'd like you to imagine the ball of light sending that feeling onto and into your entire body.
It might feel like a light shower or healing rays of light.
Allow this ball of light and the feeling you chose to emanate your whole being till you're ready,
You can return your focus to your breath and the sounds around you.
And you can give your body a little stretch if you'd like as you prepare to transition into the next part of your day.
