In this meditation,
I will be guiding you through a beautiful self-love practice that you can come back to anytime you need a dose of self-love,
Compassion and understanding.
Get settled into a comfortable position.
You can lay down or you can go ahead and stay seated.
And as you've settled in,
Take a moment to drop into your body.
Drop your shoulders,
Unclench your jaw and let's take a full,
Big,
Deep breath in,
Into your lower belly and exhale,
Sighing as you exhale,
Letting go of any worries,
Any stress,
Any judgment.
Now let's do that one more time.
Take a long,
Deep breath in,
In your lower belly and as you exhale,
Out through your mouth,
Letting go of any fear,
Any tension,
Beautiful.
Now let your breath gently flow in and flow out and allow your breath to settle in a natural pattern,
A natural rhythm and simply watch your breath,
Feel the cold air as you inhale through your nose and feel how the air is warm as you exhale.
Are you exhaling through your nose or your mouth?
Notice where you can feel your breath the most in your body.
Maybe it's in your lungs,
In your chest or maybe it's in your belly or in your throat.
Become aware of the pace and the depth of your breath.
Expand your awareness out to your entire body and notice how you are breathing with your entire body.
Become aware of the position that you are in and how every inhale of oxygen is being spread out into every cell of your body and bring your awareness to your heart space and place one hand or both your hands on your heart.
Notice how this space feels in your body and maybe it feels a bit constricted,
Heavy,
Closed.
So start breathing to your heart space now and you can also imagine some people or experiences that you have a lot of love for,
Maybe a pet.
Notice how this really helps in opening up your heart and allowing love to flow.
Keep breathing deeply in your heart space and notice the sensations of warmth,
Tingly sensations,
A profound feeling of appreciation.
Notice how love feels like to you,
This warm,
Safe,
Comforting feeling.
Make your inhales and your exhales even longer and deeper and imagine that this love,
This energy has a certain color.
It can be red,
Pink,
White,
Purple,
Green,
Any color that you like and imagine that you are expanding your love,
The love that is already within you,
The love you have for others.
And this love is overflowing,
It is spilling out of your heart and it is moving into the rest of your body.
Feel this love settle into every single nook and cranny,
In every single cell.
The love that you have within yourself is spreading onto your whole body.
It also spreads into your mind and it washes and heals your mind,
Overflowing it with love as if oceans of love are being poured into yourself.
And you realize that you are the source of this love and as you keep filling up yourself with love you also bring your attention to a certain judgment,
Inner critic,
A certain thought or belief that you had about yourself that brought you to this meditation.
Maybe it's overwhelming in a certain part in your body,
Maybe it was more in your mind and you feel that this love,
This ocean of love also reaches that part inside of you and also brings unconditional compassion,
Healing and love to this part in yourself that was feeling unloved,
That was feeling abandoned and unsafe.
Maybe this was your inner child,
Maybe this was your inner critic,
Your inner anxiety.
However it looks like or feels like,
Feel this part in yourself being showered with unconditional love and feel how this part in yourself also heals,
Calms down,
It feels loved and safe as you hold it in your arms and you witness this beautiful energy of love now transforming and turning even more bright,
Turning even more beautiful,
Transforming into abundant,
Vibrant colors that glister and shine throughout your whole body.
Your whole body is now filled up with this beautiful energy of love,
Compassion,
Empathy for yourself and for others.
Give yourself a big hug now and repeat the following affirmations to yourself.
I love you.
I love you.
I am whole,
Complete and perfect.
I am whole,
Complete and perfect.
I have oceans of love within me.
I am loved deeply.
I am love.
I am safe.
I am always here for myself.
I am right here.
I give myself the unconditional beautiful love that I deserve and that I long for.
You have created so much love within.
It's now spilling out of your body.
It's overflowing into the room that you are in.
It spreads out and it fills your whole entire building.
It's expanding even more and filling up the streets outside.
It spreads out into your whole city,
Into your whole country.
Your love is so expansive.
It is spreading out into the whole continent and eventually it wraps around the whole world in a beautiful bubble of love.
Just stay in this space for a little bit,
Feeling this love that you've created and shared with the whole world.
Take a deep breath in now and let it go.
Take another long deep breath in and release it out.
Shift your focus now back into your body,
Back into the room that you are in.
Notice how you're feeling inside of yourself,
Your inner awareness.
Maybe something has shifted inside of you.
Feel this soft and warm sensation that you've created within,
Knowing that this is a place that you can always come back to whenever you need it.
You can hold yourself.
In your own arms.
You can give love and compassion to the part of yourself that really needs it.
You can expand your love.
After you've given it to yourself,
You can give it to others.
You fill your own cup and you give from the overflow.
Ask yourself,
What is one thing I can do to show myself this unconditional love?
And really get clear on an action that you can take.
