Stress,
Anxiety from the body and the mind.
Ensure you are seated comfortably and that you have some space for yourself.
Gently closing your eyes and take a comfortable breath in and release it.
With your next comfortable breath in,
Take two inhales like this followed by one long
Sigh out.
Continue in your own pace,
With every exhale you take extending it longer and longer.
Notice if you feel the need to yawn.
This is a good sign that your nervous system is releasing tension.
Now go to the place in your body where you feel your stress or anxiety and make contact
With it.
Let it know that you are here,
That you are looking after them and that you got this.
Feeling,
Embracing,
Giving your anxiety a big and tight hug and sending oceans of love
To this place in your body,
To this feeling that perhaps you are very familiar with.
Now take three comfortable deep breaths together with this part,
Invited to breathe with you
And receive back from this part just a little bit more trust,
A little bit more ease,
A
Little bit more relief and notice how that feels in your body.
And to end our short practice together,
Gently unclench your jaw,
Relax your belly and give
Yourself a big hug and whisper to yourself,
You've got this,
I've got this,
We've got this.
Take a last comfortable breath in and release it.
Notice the shift in how you feel from when you started this practice.
