Let the light of the Winter Solstice guide you on your journey towards a brighter tomorrow. During this meditation, you'll cultivate breath and body awareness, be invited to connect with a desire you long to manifest in your life, and then enjoy a powerful visualization journey to illuminate your path forward.

Transcript

Welcome to this guided meditation for the winter solstice,

Which is the longest night of the year.

On this date,

We not only welcome the arrival of winter in the northern hemisphere,

But we also celebrate the return of light.

From this day forward,

The days will begin to grow longer and longer,

Giving us more light to fuel our growth.

So let's dive in.

You can take a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

And invite yourself to really settle in for this practice.

Take a deep breath,

And as you breathe out,

Feel your whole body letting go.

Feel your whole body dropping down into whatever is beneath you,

And finding a little bit of ease,

Finding a little bit of comfort.

And notice how your breath is flowing in and out,

And inviting your breath to slow down.

Breathing a little bit deeper,

Feeling the belly expanding with your inhale,

And relaxing with your exhale.

And as you draw your attention inward,

Acknowledge how you've shown up for this practice.

How are you feeling today?

And whatever you discover,

Just know that you don't have to change anything,

You don't have to fix anything.

See if you can just meet yourself as you are,

And accept yourself fully in this moment.

Now in honor of the winter solstice,

We are going to use the power of light to help us manifest a new vision for ourselves and our lives.

Light lets us see things,

And seeing is often believing.

So consider,

What is something that you want to see more clearly?

What do you want to believe about yourself or your life?

What do you want to make real?

What do you want to manifest?

Choose one thing,

And declare that desire that you wish to manifest,

Either silently or out loud to yourself.

And then using your mind's eye,

Begin to visualize out in front of you,

A special door.

And just notice,

Without too much guidance or instruction,

How this door appears to you.

Is it wood or metal?

Is it textured or painted?

Does it have a window you can look through?

What kind of handle does it have?

Let this doorway appear,

And know that on the other side of this door,

You are going to discover a secret room,

Where what you desire is already manifest.

On the other side of this door,

You will be able to see your desire and interact with it and feel the reality of having it manifest in your life.

You will be able to tap into the vibration of it.

So let yourself stand right in front of this door,

And on the count of five,

You are going to walk through it.

You're going to walk right into this special room that is filled with limitless potential.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

So go ahead and open the door and walk through it.

And once inside,

Look around,

Orient yourself to this space,

And notice what you notice.

See if you can bring your desire into focus.

Where is it?

What does it look like?

How do you feel when you see it?

And what do you want to do with it?

Take time to simply be with your desire in any way that feels right to you.

Now remember,

Seeing is believing.

So to help you see your desire more clearly,

Let's flood this room with light.

So imagine a skylight above you,

Beginning to let in the bright rays of the sun,

And see the space around you beginning to light up.

Feel this abundance of light gently holding you,

And illuminating you and your desire,

Making it even more real.

And as you bask in all of this light,

See if you can sense into how it feels to have what you want.

Take that in,

Fully receive that feeling,

That energetic state.

Now in the next few moments,

Begin to find your way back to the door that you originally walked through.

And as I count to five,

Make your way through that doorway,

Arriving back home in your body,

Back home in the here and now.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Take a nice deep breath in through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Notice your body,

And as you exhale,

Let your body relax,

And I want you to consider what do you want to take with you from this meditation today?

What gifts or new awarenesses did you glean from this practice?

What did you receive from the winter solstice and its energy?

To seal it all in,

You can take your hands,

If you'd like,

And rest them over your heart.

Breathe in deeply,

Breathe out completely,

Feeling your heart beating inside your chest,

Feeling your own aliveness,

And feeling that spark of potential,

That spark of possibility inside of you,

That spark of being able to create what you want,

To see what it is that you desire manifest in your life.

Take one last deep breath in,

And out.
